Perfect auxiliary auxiliary pump
I upgraded my super charger and needed a 3rd fuel pump this worked out flawlessly super easy to install and small enough to hide in tight places it’s producing 7pnds of pressure to the fuel rail and with a. Hobbs switch to turn it on when needed couldn’t ask for better , but if you adding this pump to your car or truck you will need a check valve before going into the fuel rail cause without that you will lose pressure and it won’t work right or run right get the valve right from Amazon

Failed . I thought I had received a fake, so I got another. Same thing noise and power surges.
This pump was actually recommended to go with a project car and engine combination, but it turns out that many others including me have seen early failures of this pump. Specs look great, but after a short time the pressure to fuel rail drops and the pump fails. I assumed the first pump was a counterfeit, so I bought another from a different source. Same thing, failed very quickly. The second now delivers erratic pressure readings and makes a high pitched noise. On both occasions the pump had not been fitted for a long time before failure (I am talking of around 100 to 200 hrs run time. The first was fitted and the engine was mostly run at idle. I left engine running which eventual showed sign of fuel starvation and eventually wouldn't start. Checked fuel lines, filter etc and eventually traced it back to the failed pump. I tested the pump and it wasnt moving any liquid when powered. The second started to fail on a road trip. It intermittently gave the engine power surges and fuel starvation. The PSI is erratic at the fuel rail and the pump is now noisy. It can hold engine at idle but any attempt to accelerate causes a drop in pressure and engine starvation. I may have been unlucky and received 2 poor quality parts, but it seems that I am not the only person to experience this issue. I was very disappointed with the purchases.

Get the correct crush washers for the fittings
Flow direction arrow is clear and easy to see. Electrical connectors aren't easy to keep protected from the elements, might just need to put some dielectric grease on periodically. I ran mine with a circuit breaker fused to my ignition switch and have not had a signal issue. Pump has run flawlessly for 10k miles no leaks. I have it running through a CAT 175-2949 water separator, and CAT 1R-0750 fuel filter on my 1997 F250HD. Make sure you get the correct size crush washers for the fitting you choose to use on the inlet and outlet of the pump.

Didn’t last 2 months
This pump has left me on the side of the road 3 times in 2 days because it is only intermittently pumping and constantly loses prime. Trouble shot and checked for leaks on the suction side of pump and no air leaking in. Very disappointed.

Failed almost immediately - Updated
Update: received a new pump in exchange for the old. New pump has nice laser etched labeling, old had stamped in labels. New pump also was clearly new & unopened. Worked much better (making 75psi on the regulator that was set to 45psi w/ the old one). Sounds healthy and everything ran good. If anything changes, I'll update the review again.Good:-quiet-simple install-my last GSL392 had been fine since i got the car 15k miles agoBad:-erratic pumping-failed in less than 100 milesThe new pump I received was a TI Automotive (which is the original MFG of Walbro pumps according to the packaging) & was purchased to replace my Walbro GSL392 that has been in the car for the 5 years I've owned it. Seemed like the box had been opened but the pump looked to be in working order. After 4 days of short drives to test the car after a long rebuild (50-60 miles total), this pump nearly left me stranded in the middle of the road. Air fuel ratios were very lean and it would only idle - pedal input resulted in it starving for fuel. I'm currently waiting on a replacement to see if it was just bad luck, but I wish I didn't have to replace the pump again.

Better
I tried to cheap out and buy cheap aftermarket pump and within minutes of running it gave out. As direct replacement this walbro performed much better and stronger. Even sounded stronger.

Good value
So the local parts dealer that sells this pump is a pain in the butt to deal with and hate going there , Amazon is just about 100 bucks less and I don’t have to deal with idiots at mopac :) the pump works great and it’s an easy install

Great value for money
You can’t get better value than this pump. I use it on my race car, run methanol. Most use $250 Bosch 044 pumps which seem to fail more often than not. Not this little gem, and at half the price. Love it.
