Nice but not what I was looking forward to. A historic approach, but hoped to get a better insight on doing kachina carvings and calling myself a native American. I wouldn't even broach that subject. I always date and sign my works to eliminate any. Is conception

A very well edited book with a lot of detail and information!

Like it subject. Hopi tribe Kathina dolls, relationship with clowns and ceremony and the seasonal cycle of life.Don't like: not full coverage in photos of the full spectrum Katchina (some crucial missing)Used for: study, subject matter and contemplation

Helga Teiwes is one of the most informed on this subject, she also includes her photographs that are first class.
