I'm not 100% sure but I think this might be the first case I've ever given 5 stars on.A week ago I might not have. Not to say I would have given it 1 star a week ago, probably only a 4. Its one of those that is right on the border of being a slim case but also has some bulk to it. It definitely adds some mass to your phone, more than the true slim, lightweight TPU cases you can get, but overall it is slim enough to at least not overly bother me when I stick it in my pocket or hold it for long periods of time. To me, when I bought it I thought it would be a true slim case where you hardly even notice its on there. Not a huge deal, but on the road to the perfect case it just didn't feel like "the one" that would be my forever case.Honestly, Im still not sure that it is.I got the brushed metal look, which looks cool enough but its almost a soft TPU kind of material so it scratches up and catches your finger nails if you aren't careful. The biggest benefit to this is it doesn't slide around on hard surfaces, which is a huge plus. I would like to see them come out with a clear back case like this with the same honeycomb pattern on the inside, while still showing off at least some parts of the back of the phone. I realize they offer a modular bumper case that can have some kind of plastic backing in it but it doesn't have the honeycomb mold that is probably the reason I am giving it 5 stars.I was getting out of my truck to head back into work from my lunch break, tired and not really paying much attention. I went to look at it as I got a text but lost my grip on it and it tumbled a good 4 feet onto hard, solid concrete. Needless to say my heart dropped. I thought that had to be it, my phone was cracked and I would have to live with it.The case certainly took a bit of a beating. It appears to have landed on the top edge of the phone over the front camera, as that edge of the case was scuffed and scratched and beat up, and there was a chip or two elsewhere, which didnt bother me considering what it had just landed on. A quick scrape with a fingernail and the rough edges from the scratches and scuffs faded a bit. To my surprise, the only other harm was a tiny little crack in the very edge of my glass screen protector. I've had previous protectors used in conjunction with other cases shatter from being dropped 2 feet onto a wood floor, let alone concrete from twice that distance. I can only assume and hope it was the lining of that honeycomb pattern they put in to absorb more shock and not just pure luck that saved my phone, otherwise this review is quite misleading. If it was just luck, I apologize to any readers.Is this case the "one"? I don't have a clue. For now though, It's the only one I officially fully trust to protect my phone and its the only one I can say with confidence I gave it a 5 star review.

I love the way this case looks and I feel more secure with it on my phone. The case fits snugly. My phone still feels pretty slim in my hand and my pocket because the case doesn’t add much bulk to it at all. The camo on the back is more textured than I thought because the black in the pattern is recessed and has a softer texture. I was not expecting that and I love it. I must note that even though the sides have that matte, slightly textured look, they are not as easy to grip as I would like. The sides are just as hard as the back and I wish the company would have made the texture more aggressive. If not careful while holding the phone with one hand, it could slip out of your hand. Hopefully, the 11 ft. drop rating holds up. Overall, it is a good case.Update 9/3/22:This case is heavy-duty! Since I bought this case, I’ve dropped my phone I don’t know how many times. I’ve even had my phone fall off of the back of my car as I was driving (I accidentally left it on my trunk). My phone still works fine and looks brand new without the case on it.The case still fits perfectly. I've removed it several times and it comes off slightly easier now, but the fit is still amazing.The texture is still slippery, to be honest. I got used to it though. My phone has never just slipped out of my hand onto the floor. The texture shouldn't be a problem for anyone unless they're just ultra clumsy.I’m now looking to upgrade my phone and I’m getting the same type of case for the new phone. With this case and a good screen protector, your phone will survive any normal drop. I emphatically recommend this case!P.S.Because of everything my phone has been through while having this case on it, and the great condition it is still in, I'm changing my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.

The power button is extremely hard to use and I constantly have to deal with its issues, sometimes it will open Siri, Apple Pay, and even close my screen when I don’t touch it, it doesn’t feel like the right fit for my iPhone XR

As the headline says, it's a tight fit, but you can be confident your phone is not going to randomly pop off of it. However taking my phone in and out of the case though definitely makes me feel paranoid about scratching the edges of my phone if some abrasive debris ever gets in there. It does feel pretty solid and while I'm not going to go test chucking phone my phone halfway across the room (which I did with my older phone donning a Ballistic brand case), I am confident about this case's protective capabilities.The #1 thing I wish this had better was grip! I would gladly trade a little less rigidity for a little more grippy feeling for the case as a whole. I really liked my previous case for its appreciable grip, but not with this case. I would prefer the carbon fiber texture in the back to be less plasticky feeling too (which is related to the grip issue) but I can understand the reasoning behind choosing this material as it seems more durable versus the Ballistic brand case I had where the texture is just glue on and definitely peeled off.Overall, I would recommend the case.

I spent a long time looking at different cases and settled on this one. Let's start with the good points:The case is high quality, very sturdy. I do not worry about my phone using this. It is not flimsy at all, and hold the phone very well. The buttons are VERY good to use, as they are inserts, a very good design here. All the cut outs for cable and speakers are accurate and clean cut with nice finish, and the camera sits within the camera hole so it cannot get a scratch. The wireless charging works through the case, with no problems at all.Now for the bad:The big one here is the grip. It looks grippy but honestly it's not. Now this is made worse as I have an iPhone XR - an unnecessarily large phone which is a nighmare to handle (not my choice, it's for work) but this means grip is really important, and this case just doesn't offer the grip needed. The plastic is slippery and it's constantly falling out of my hands. Also bear in mind I have large hands so this isn't just me not being able to grip it.Secondly, I go the dark wood finish - not great. Looks okay from a distance, but on closer inspection, looks a bit tacky. Not bad, but not great.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a phone case. This case doesn’t even work properly on the phone. The power button most of the time doesn’t even work with the case on and when you try to use Apple Pay it will either go to Siri as if you are holding the button, your phone will turn off or nothing will happen.Also extremely painful to try and take off. Almost broke my fingernail and underneath is now purple after 5 minutes of trying to take it off.£30 for this is a ripoff

Disappointed to say the least. The case looks great but feels very tacky and cheap. The feel I didn’t expect to get from a £30 phone case. The back of the case has been standardised to ensure that it fits all of their models, therefore this part of the case can be adapted resulting in cheap manufacturing. If I were to press my nail into it, the mark would continue to stay there. It protects the phone but certainly does not feel premium. A real shame.

Love the colour, how thin & protective the case feels. Only downside is when your hands are cold/dry the case can feel quite slippery. If this case had a bit more grip it would be a 5 star case

It’s a lovely case.Beautifully made and very solid.I think it’s a little over priced and I think the rim is a little bulky.
