I really can't believe how many positive reviews there are for this furniture set with almost no real criticisms. I hate to be the party pooper here but this was not some cheap set of furniture. For this much money I expected some pretty flawless design. First the good - assembly is each, from far away it looks very nice. But that is about it.During assembly and after trying to use it for the first few times we found dozens of serious issues with the set. First, it may be "wrought iron" but it still just has a cheap layer of black paint over the surface that is peeling off on many areas that looks terrible. One leg of a chair was simply missing the screw holes from whenever it was created, so the footrest could not be put on it.Now the more serious problem - there are flaws with the metal itself. While it appeared to be packaged pretty well for shipping there are just big dents and deformities with the metal that most likely happened in the factory. Again - for a cheap set of furniture that would be excusable but not for one that is nearly $300.And finally the issue that made us simply elect to not use this set at all - there are some very sharp pieces of metal about the size of a thumb tack or needle just sticking out in random areas on the arms, legs and all parts of the pieces. Probably 10 in all. Most of them were discovered when we all sat down on the furniture and proceeded to yelp out as our skin was punctured by sharp pieces of metal. This sounds like a bad Chevy Chase movie, but I assure you it was not a joke. I tried, in the following days, to use wire clippers and a fine file to fix these little areas but it just made a mess of things and the entire thing turned into a massive disappointment. With a 4 year old using this furniture with the adults, the thought of her getting hurt on them is just not acceptable to me.At this point the thought of trying to disassemble and repackage an 82 pound furniture set to ship back for a refund (it was 4 massive boxes that you could never repackage to fit back in the way they came) is just more than I care to take on, and I predict I will unload this to a local dumpster. I'm not one to complain much on reviews, but I would stick to your local hardware or outdoor store to pick up a set. Mail order clearly is not the way to go. Maybe I got some one in a million bad set with a ton of problems, poor paint job, and a bunch of safety issues, or maybe not all these 5 star reviewers are not quite as legitimate as they seem, which is not uncommon these days.

This is a great looking set and for the money, I can't complain too much. My husband and I put this together pretty quickly and without any hassle. However...if you are placing this set anywhere where it will get wet, then do as another reviewer suggested and spray it down HEAVILY with a high quality clear rust proof enamel spray like Rust-O-Leum. I used a cheaper brand and sprayed each piece lightly and after just a few rain showers and the constant humidity that is present in mid-Florida throughout much of the year - little bits of rust were visible everywhere! I let it go too long before addressing it again and had to spray each piece with a rust remover, scrub it off with steel wool and coat each piece again with clear enamel. The second time around I used one can of enamel for each piece. No rust problems since but a word of warning to those purchasing, don't do what I did and do the prep work right the first time. I still love the look of it and the foot rests are great. It also has leveling feet on each piece which is very handy.

these are what they are, they are a cheap patio set but worth the money. we purchased 8 chairs and 3 matching tables for a new patio we installed. these had the look we wanted at a price we were willing to pay. the chairs are sturdy and sit good. the tables are just fine too. assembly was easy but be prepared for some minor damage in shipping. out of our 11 pieces we assembled one chair out of the worst parts and i've filed a claim to get it replaced. we also had several components with razor sharp burrs from manufacturing, they were easy to "clean up" but my wife had several very small cuts from assembling most of the items. all in all i would rate them a good value for the money but don't expect high end furniture that will last forever.

It will take time to confirm but I believe this set will work out fine. Definitely liked the price. Went together without any issues. I like the height. I like the style. Sturdy enough - not rickety. No cushions needed. Sits just fine. Footrest on stool is nice. Read the reviews about rust. Set as delivered had no rust. I heeded the guidance from past reviews and sprayed set with Rustoleum primer followed with Rustoleum dark brown paint. Looks great. Time will tell. If the paint holds up and rust does not become an issues I am very satisfied.

I just received it today and I couldn't be more impressed. I just got done putting the entire set together.No tools needed and only took about an hour and a half. I am so happy with the final result. The chairs as well as the table are extremely sturdy as well as appearing to have a very expensive and classy appeal! I can't believe I paid the price I did on this as it seems it should cost twice as much. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone. The height is perfect too. Both are high and the table falls perfect in comparison to the chairs where I can keep my laptop on it in front of me and enjoy my outside balcony over looking the ocean and mountains in my new office. Can't wait! Enjoy! : )

This Bristol set really looks wonderful, real easy/fast to assemble and with a cushion makes a comfy seat while wearing the swimsuit.....I wish it were heavier, chair tilts forward when boosting my booty up. I also wish it had a smoother table top surface, wine glass doesn't sit complete flat. But it really looks good by my pool. I took the advice of other buyers and protected this product with some rust resistant clear finish spray paint before putting it out by the pool. It's only been a few weeks, no rust yet. The shipping was fast as well.

Received the set very quickly, in two large boxes. My husband and I put the chairs and table together in about an hour. There was one screw that we couldn't get to go in completely, but it's still sturdy. Not as heavy quality as I really wanted, but heavy enough that it hasn't blown away and we live in a really windy area. The chairs are pretty comfortable, I really like the foot rest - its not just a thin rail - its nice and wide. Definitely worth the price.
