Use caution when buying this. The one I purchased had the expiration date label removed, the label on the front was scratched, and the cap is cracked. There is no way to tell how old this is. Over all, it appears to be quite old, and the bottle has kind of a sticky feeling to it. In the attached photo, the expiration date is in the black stripe that you can see is partially torn off. You can also see the crack inn the top.

I purchased a tiny packet of this at the store but will now be buying the larger amount here. When sautéing shrimp for topping cheese grits, heat olive oil, add this blend to the oil, wait 30 seconds, and add the shrimp. South American peppers are hard to find and I have no idea how authentic this is but it reminds me of them. Very good without being too hot or taking over the dish. A real compliment.
