I bought the Rope Bat Swing Trainer for my 7-year-old son, who, bless his heart, could NOT swing through for the life of him. Watching him at bat was like watching someone try to swat a mosquito with a pool noodle: lots of effort, absolutely no follow-through, and everyone confused because somehow, he manges to make contact 80% of the time but could never hit past second base. Enter: The Rope Bat. This thing is basically a magical floppy bat that teaches kids how to swing. The idea is simple: if he doesn’t swing correctly, the bat whips around like a disappointed spaghetti noodle. If he DOES swing correctly, it actually hits the ball instead of gently tapping it like it’s afraid of confrontation. After a few sessions, something incredible happened, MY SON STARTED SWINGING THROUGH. Like… consistently. Like… he suddenly understood physics. Like… I nearly cried at practice but held it in because other parents were watching. The 12 soft training balls are a gift from the baseball gods. My son can miss them, smack them, or launch them into orbit, and nobody loses teeth. And the bat itself? Durable enough to survive a 7-year-old who plays baseball as if he's reenacting an action movie. Now he steps up to the plate with confidence, swings like he means it, and occasionally looks back at me like, “Did you SEE that?” Yes, child. I saw it. And so did all the other parents who now think I hired a personal hitting coach. It saved my kid’s swing, boosted his confidence, and prevented me from quietly screaming into a seat cushion at practice. 10/10 would Rope Bat again.

Rope bat is a hit with the kids. This helps them self correct without someone trying to explain what the problem is. My son started using this when he was 9. He will grab this up if he is struggling at the plate and this seems to help build his confidence. With baseball you use what works for you and this thing does the trick.

This rope bat is awesome for tee work. It perfects the swing. If you do not swing the bat just right, you will not make contact with the ball. So far, the balls that come with it and the bat are holding up well. There are 12 foam balls that will fly if it is hit correctly! We will be buying a second rope bat so we can split the team up and work in two sections.

Valuable tool for training and different look drill, sponge balls are great for anywhere use.

As a tool, this works really well for training. It helped my son with his swing and that would normally make this 5 stars. However, the price they are charging is outrageous. I can't imagine it cost them more than a few bucks to make these (and that's being generous). I'm surprised there aren't competitors here, but at least you can find cheap foam balls from 3rd party sellers instead of what they are trying to charge for additional balls. If you have the money and don't mind overpaying, this is a good tool to have and work with as part of your training.

My kids love this bat, great training tool and easy to use. I’ve seen them stay in the zone and hit further by 10feet. And it’s fun to use as nunchucks.

My son was casting in his swing horribly! And only took a few sessions with this bat and he was able to correct what he had been doing. It is so easy To use! If you are casting, you can't hit the ball, this allows you to have that sure swing all the way through! My son continues to use the rope bat in his training to ensure he keeps a good habit. The simplicity of this tool and the correction that you see is absolutely amazing! It is so easy to use and so simple to correct bad habits! You just have to continue to drill with it to ensure those bad habits don't return. It fits not only my 11 year old son, but my seven year old is also using it. The bat itself is lightweight. It is constructed nicely. The balls are also a nice foam material. It really does help correct swings, it lives up to its function!
