Good product but could be better
Was delivered as promised and on time. I certainly cannot fault the seller but I have a minor compliant about the manufacturer. When it was made they placed a 10mm (M10) course thread nut on the bottom of the upright brace and provided a 10mm bolt that when threaded through the nut secures the 2x4 in the frame. Unless one carries a ratchet with 10mm socket, it is difficult to tighten the nut to adequately secure the 2x4, especially when wearing gloves (like we typically do where I live in Wisconsin). I have tried to replace the bolt with a 10mm thumb screw, a 10mm wing nut screw, or even a 10mm eye bolt that is easier to manipulate without tools but trying to find one that is long enough in the US, and even on the internet, is impossible. I will probably hire someone to remove the 10mm nut and weld on a new 1/2in nut so that finding hardware to properly secure the 2x4 will be easier. Given that the product is marketed and sold in the US where a different standard of measurement is more commonplace it seems that, regardless of the location of manufacture, Champion (Vista Outdoor) could have made it more compatible with hardware that is commonplace in the US or provided more user friendly metric hardware from the beginning.

Poor welds
I just got my 2 new target stands today and was so excited to take them down range until I saw the quality of the welds used to make the stand. There's 3 connection points to make this stand. The 2 T intersection which makes the base of the stand and center mount which holds the 2x4. All 3 are rectangular in shape and are only welded on the shortest side of the rectangle. Leaving the longest sides un-welded and weakens the durability of the stand that's supposed to hold heavy steal targets. The only reason I'm keeping them is that it won't cost me anything to add the missing welds.

Heavy Duty
Heavy duty, so glad I picked this one over some of the others that pop up when you search here. It's not light weight angle iron, this holds up my 10" round and 10" square 3/8" metal perfectly. Only knock is the pins to hold it in the ground, the L shape makes it hard to pound into the ground. Should have a centered flat head, but not an issue to make you look elsewhere. Buy this one!

Have Held Up Beautifully
I have had five down at my range for the last two years and have left them out over the winter. Just bought five more so we can add five more lanes. We hang 3/8" 12"x20" AR500 Steel on a 2x4 posted in them with no crossbeams, just staked down with the included stakes, which I would have thought would not have been sufficient, yet we send several thousand rounds a month (.9mm, .45, 5.56, .308 and .300WM) at them and they stay up and have held up. I just repaint them once in a while when there is too much paint chipping from projectile fragmentation. When I widen the range again, will probably buy five more.

Super heavy duty and stable
Best 2x4 base I’ve found. Great for gong targets. It is very heavy gauge steel and large enough to be extremely stable, which is necessary out in the high desert where you can’t anchor anything into the hard pan soil and the wind knocks down all but the sturdiest target stands. Now if I could hit the target instead of the 2x4...

Champion Traps and Targets
Heavy, sturdy steel base, purchased 2 x 4 planks to use as posts. Using with steel targets, no issues at all. These are very common and no nonsense.

Not bad at all
Nice product. I like things a bit sturdier so i will be adding two welds to the base. Overall they are portable and SEEM sturdy. Have NOT used them yet. I have confidence in this product. After receiving one I ordered a second.

Does its job
I shoot a steel target with 9mm. Its mounted on a 2x4 about 4.5 feet in the air and have zero issues with this stand. Its simple, light enough, durable enough.
