This listing is incorrect or lying. This is a New York Strip, NOT a ribeye. The seller's website also shows this same picture, for a kobe New York Strip, at the same price. Either this is lying or it is a grave error but this is NOT RIBEYE. Do not buy if you are looking for Ribeye.

This is not A5!! Not Kobe!!!
This was not A5 Kobe. It was probably US Wagyu...definitely not Japanese, Kobe and/or A5. False advertising

Wow. Was Fantastic...worth it
Over the last few years I have been upping my steak game and have been able to get some real decent cuts from my specialty butcher; but have not been able to get a Kobe steak. I happen to come across Holy Grail Steak company and thought I would give it a shot and was not dissapointed. This is the real deal! They shipped quickly, it was well handled and packaged right. .This was well worth the price and it came out perfect at home, a real treat if you can appreciate the type of cut the A5 Kobe is. IF done right it has an incredible rich dense flavor, and making it at home in the cast iron pan is the way to go. Please don't throw this cut on the BBQ without proper care or it will be a waste of the quality meat.A few important tips if your not used to Kobe or high fat concentrated Waygu cuts, we prefer the cast iron:1. Before cooking, we set it out on the counter at room temp for 3 hours, 4 if your fridge is really empty2. Cut away and trim the fat around the edges; but save this for the pan. We mix with a little bit of oil to create the foundation. Cut two trimmed out (almost square) pieces.3. Put the pan on Medium heat, on ours it is med-high heat and get the oil until it smokes. Lay the pieces in the pan and surround with any additional trimmings so it holds in place. This will make it rich, soak up the juice. .4. Cook to temp, slightly salt and pepper. Important...please don't ruin the steak and add anything. The light salt and pepper is enough for this intense flavor. It is naturally rich if you get the right cut and Holy Grail is legit!

Worth It!
This ultimate indulgence for this steak lover did not disappoint. Arrived in a perfectly frozen state. My first thought was that this would make a great gift to a special person. Today that special person was me. Preparation was simple: salt and pepper then seared in a seasoned cast iron pan. I avoided direct grilling due to the high-fat content. The flavor, tenderness and juiciness surpassed all of my prior steak experiences. Treat yourself!

BEST Ribeye Ever!
This literally was the BEST ribeye steak I've ever had! Super flavorful, tender, juicy and melts in your mouth. Infact, it was so flavorful, a little sea salt was all it needed. My wife loved it!
