works great in DHW tank
I replaced the set point sensor in my hot water tank with this so I can monitor the actual temperature. It fit well in the existing sensor well, and seems T be working fine.

Not very reliable
Not very reliable, only worked for 5 days, I had to buy another through a radiant heating store and now it’s working great.

Doesn't like high temperatures
I have 3 of these in my hot water boiler heating system. One measures outdoor temperature, another measures the temperature of the water circulated through my floors (80-100 degrees) and one measures boiler loop temperature (typically 180 degrees). The boiler loop sensor fails regularly every 5 years. The other two have been going without problems for 20 years. I keep 1 or 2 on hand as spares.

The original 071 worked fine for many years as boiler feed temperature sensor
The original 071 worked fine for many years as boiler feed temperature sensor. It finally failed, understandable for it's subjected to heat cycles. At room temp resistance measured normal, ~15.5 kilo ohms. But as boiler supply temp rose, resistance declined as designed (the way it's supposed to work) and would continue to drop below threshold of 422 control fault functionality. Indecently the 422 fault code for this failure is wrong on my 422 control. The 422 fault code stated was "boil opn" with flashing "!" as fault code. THIS IS WRONG. The 071 did not fail as an open but as a short (low resistance) across device terminals.
