Just got my kepi ,I would say it's one of best kepi I have gotten well made fits real good.looks like the orignal.will wear this with pride! I would give this a ten star, for quality ,got here on time and we'll it's just a Damm fine hatlike the infantry blue but if you get a red band kepi for artillery pleas contact me asap, again a very fine productgood job you made this old rebel happy.

bought these for the nephews for a little fun.. these are well made and a large was truly a large not some half size like you see sometimes. well worth the money if your looking for a confederate hat.. I'm not a re-enactor or anything. just thought it would be fun

to be perfectly frank,i bought this for an unintended purpose:i hated wearing the typical sports cap every summer,remembered my accumulated history buff knowledge and said "late 19th century kepi is basically a nicer,better quality football cap so: why not get myself one?" and considering civil war reinactments tend to happen more the french foreign legion ones(although personally,the foregin legion kepi is legendary in how gorgous it is,even without the obvious dgaul fame but woof,those are sold for a premium) i figured this was a safe budget bet. so,tl;dr: i wasn't buying my way into confederate historical acting so much as finding myself a poor mans kepi.that being said tho: the kepi is marvelous and a very good design for something made so far away from the design's origins(made in pakistan according to the sticker): the leatherwork on the brim is well made,the cotton of the fabric is nice and the belt is on the cheap side but then again: that "pilgrim" look wasn't really something i paid much attention to anyway.however,the only reason this is a four rather then a solid five is simple: the "confederate droop" of the tophat portion is a little too loosy goosy,forcing me to constantly take it off,puff up the hat and put it on again. i guess if yoru going for the reinactment vibe of the downtrodden confederate countrymen in the thick of battle this isn't an issue but then again: i wanted a kepi,not a kerr rifle so it didn't really work for me in that front and tbh,i think some reinactors would the droop a little excessive on this kepi.otherwise,if you want a good quality kepi that won't put you out of your other clothes financially: this is the best you can get.

Great product and very happy with this purchase. Ordered it thursday and recieved it saturday its pretty close to the real thing.
