The Platinum Collection

The first time that I had really heard this lady was a long time ago when I heard her beautiful song Non, je ne regrette rien for the first time. For many years, that song always had a place in the back of my mind, where I could call upon it at any time. That took place one Saturday afternoon, at the local matinee at the picture theatre when the movie La Vie en Rose was shown. I conceded to myself that I loved that song. Years down the track, while browsing through Amazon, I found that they had available a DELUXE LIMITED EDITION, consisting of a soundtrack cd, a 40 page colour book, detailing the movie and a dvd of the same movie. That was a really great buy. In between, I had bought two cd's of her songs. Then along came this 3 cd boxed set. I ordered it that night. I truly feel that the very best song and recording she ever made was the one in question here, Non, je ne regrette rien.. When I play it, I do so multiple times, immediately it finishes playing, I repeat it. This song is, of course, on these recordings of which there are three cd's containing a total of 60 songs that she sings, including La Vie En Rose. Milord, Padam.Padam and 57 others. There is only one other thing I can say about this and that is.....If you like the songs and the music of EDITH PIAF, THEN THIS IS FOR YOU. Buy it. You will appreciate it as I do.

Wonderful collection

As a lifelong Edith Piaf fan I decided to buy this 3 CD collection. there is not a weak trackto be found. 60 songs full of emotion, happiness, romance and despair. Buy it and enjoy.you won`t be disappointed.
