Germination rate was great, these suckers grew huge, fast - I did a full harvest of baseball-sized beets a few days ago (mid July), after only about 5-6 weeks of grow time. Works great outside (you don't need to start them indoors). Just bought a second pack - these are nice and sweet, perfect for spiced beet pickling (cinnamon, allspice, clove).Tips: Some of the other reviews are claiming that these didn't grow... they don't know how to garden. You need to build up soil around the bulbs as they emerge along the ground to help the root plump up. Also, they need to be in fairly well-drained soil. Low-lying beets that get flooded often will have their growth stunted and can start to rot right in the ground.EDIT: Don't forget to use the greens people! These taste better than red beet greens.

Ordered Sunday, rec’d Tuesday, planted Tuesday evening, got sprouts on Saturday. Looks like nearly 100% germination. What more could you want. Should have beets before September. Will plant more this weekend and save a few for spring. Never had golden beets before, hope they are good.

Added revitalized soil to 3 ten gallon grow bags. Did my research ahead of time after reading a LOT of negative reviews, and doubled the amount of blood meal I normally would have. Seems beets require extra nitrogen.Wasn't sure how it would go, but I had germination in five days. So quickly in fact, that I let them get a little leggy for my taste and I thought I'd lost the whole bunch. Fortunately, the seeds are seed pods and you get several seeds in each, so I'm getting a lot of secondary germination and these are doing better under the grow lights.It appears to be 95 to 99% germination, if you keep them moist. Don't know what the future holds, but they're off to a decent start.

Just okay... not much of a crop for us.

The seeds came quickly to my house. Package says seeds take 2 weeks to germinate. Soaked them in a water/ hydrogen peroxide mix for a few hours and put them in rockwool cubes. Germinated in 2 days! 100%

I bought these based on the positive reviews, but these did not grow for me. I just put in new raised beds with new soil (planters mix and steer manure). I bought cucumbers from this place as well and it has not grown either. Nothing grew. Very disappointed.

Not only is the price fantastic for these seeds but the beets them self are amazing. I would definitely recommend this

100% germination in just five days. I soaked them for 10 hours prior to planting. Seedlings are very healthy and thriving. Would definitely buy again
