When I first started taking this, I started with lemon-strawberry Calm which is kinda similar to this cherry Simply Calm I take now. At first I would only taste some of it dry and it was tart/sweet almost like Sweet Tarts from my youth, and I liked it enough that kept taking it that way. When I ran out, I wanted to try something a little different (and cheaper) and got this Simply Calm. But it tasted awful dry, like powder with a nondescript flavor. I finally took the directions seriously and tried it in water and loved it. It has a fizz almost like a fizzy drink but milder. It does make me burp sometimes (tmi?), but who doesn’t need a good burp every once in awhile! I recommend this brand and will always have some in hand.

I loveeee the flavor of this and, unlike Calm now, this brand still uses natural flavoring. Absorbency was fine. I added extra water because it is TART (but in a good way). It doesn’t taste artificial at all. And, I feel like it helps. I usually drink it before bed because it makes me sleepy.

I get cramps in my calves at night when I stretch...only at night. My whole calf muscle with seize up. Went to the doctor, was told I had a magnesium deficiency. He told me to take a magnesium supplement (pill form). Did NOT work. Still cramped up every night. Ok to the Googles. Found out that powered magnesium absorbs better than pill form. I was using some from Walmart that was hard to get because they never had it in stock so I turned to Amazon. Found this stuff. It works so well. I only have to take it for a few nights. The cramps go away completely and I sleep better at night. The other stuff I had to take every single night. Do yourself a favor though. Take it at night. It is so nice to be able to stretch in the middle of the night and not have leg cramps.

Distraught Natural Vitality Calm customer here. Since they discontinued their unflavored Plus line, I’ve been searching for a replacement. I can’t tolerate artificially flavored and sweetened drinks. I was optimistic about Blue Bonnet. It seems to have a higher dose of magnesium than others and appeared the closest to Calm. However, in spite of the glowing reviews, I haven’t found it to be as effective. And it’s very gritty. It barely dissolves even after using hot water and stirring vigorously. I will not be buying again.

I am fighting kidney and liver disease, and this helps me so much.I stopped for a while, forgot to re order it and realized it is a significant factor in my progress fighting a terrible health problem. It is also great to relieve a myriad of other conditions as well.Too many to list. It is the best way to get mag into your body, by drinking it.I mix it with EmergenC and it tastes even better.

My legs ache all the time. If I use this magnesium powder, it really seems to quell the constant aching. It tastes really good and mixes pretty well in water. Sometimes there is a little powder that doesn't fully mix, but it's not a big deal.

I only ordered this product because the "Naturally Calm" magnesium powder wasn't available. I was assuming this would be just like it when I read the ingredients. This powder does not dissolve at all. I stirred and stirred and it still did not dissolve. I never had that problem with "Naturally Calm". I will not order this again. The only good thing about this product was the price. "Naturally Calm's " price really skyrocketed. I wish this stuff was just as good so I could save some money.
