Insect + Hot Pepper Suet Balls PB-0100 (12 Pack)

My birds love them amd I love watching the birds from the park visit tto feed

Balls are too big for my feeder, so I microwave them in a bowl to soften them. Then smash them into the feeder cylinder. A little messy as it gets crumbly.

I have used these hot pepper suet balls in the past and both myself and the birds love them. However during the shortage of everything these days, my local store has been unable to get them in stock. I took to amazon. These suet balls are fairly fragile, I totally expected to have them packed up well and shipped in a box to protect them. Instead they arrived in a plastic shipping bag (wrapped in bubble wrap - which did absolutely nothing to keep them from getting crushed in transit). 5 or so were in fairly usable condition, the rest were small bits and dust - unable to use them as intended (in a metal-framed tube feeder). Fearful of re-ordering and having the same thing happen again, I opted for a return/refund.

I have purchased these several times. They attract birds but the squirrels don’t seem to be interested so that’s a win.

I just ordered 2 more bags.

Birds love this suet. Enjoy watching birds eat the suet balls. Expensive, but once a year I buy 2 bags.

The suet balls are soft so several of them broke up due to being shipped in a soft sided envelope versus a cardboard box that would have provide protection.The broken pieces cannot be used in the feeder since they are too small and fall though the mesh.

I purchased these suet balls expecting them to come as advertised—in balls. Yet when they were delivered just now, all I found in the package was suet crumbs—not what I ordered. I’m sending this back for a full refund!
