Geekpure 20-Inch Universal Compatible Carbon Block Water Filter Cartridge for Whole House Water Filter- 4.5 Inch x 20 Inch

I change the filters every 6 months. This brand, Geekpure last the full 6 months. Much better than 2 other brands I’ve used.

I am single, and I use this as a whole house filter. I replace it around my birthday every year. It works great. I live in a rural neighborhood, my neighbors will complain about the water's chlorine levels assaulting them, and the water being undrinkable - I NEVER notice a chlorine smell. Ever. My friend stayed in my house while I traveled and she commented on how much nicer it is to shower at my house than her rental, and how much nicer her hair comes out, because my water doesn't have the chlorine.This year, at changing time, I thought I caught a slight whiff of chlorine just before I changed the filter - telling me that my annual change-out is right for my usage level. The old filter was rusty looking - so I know it was taking out more than just the chlorine.I am very happy with this product.

Use it for my koi pond filter for water. Works great.

Our utility sometimes overdoses water with chlorine, and it kills my water softener. I am using this to remove Chlorine from water before my water softener.

In the past I have used the Pentek FloPlus filters. They go for $79 now on Amazon. Each time I replace a filter, I look for new alternatives. This time I found the Geekpure. It's close to 1/3 the price I was paying. It came with 5-star reviews. Why not! I know that a new filter is needed when the pressure drops. I replaced the old with the Geekpure. It's a 5 Micron carbon like the rest. The pressure was back. No smell of chlorine or anything else. Great tasting water. That's all I'm looking for. Now, we'll see how long it lasts. That's the final test.

Needed to replace filter on my water softener and this is exactly what I needed and expected. Works great!

I used this carbon block water filter in my Big Blue filter system, to remove the taste and smell from my well water. It does a good job on both counts, but especially removes that sulfur odor that can be a problem. And it is priced at about half the price of the carbon filter I had previously used.

So far I am impressed. We are on a well with high manganese so after 75-90 days the orange ring in the toilet lets us know its time to change the filter, so far with this brand I am on month 4 and still going! Winner.

Great filter for my water system.

Well, it has not leaked. And everything seems to be functioning properly. The length was identical but the diameter is about almost a 1/4” smaller than the original.I don’t feel that is a problem I guess time will tell.I am so far very happy with the purchase.Really I can’t taste any difference. So that should be a good thing. Everyone who tries our water says it tastes different than their regular tap water and they like it. So somethings working. 🙂I will update in a month.

easy install, works great so far

On well water and have a whole house filter system. This product was a great price but it only lasted 1.5 months before some water smell started back, was supposed to last 6 to 12 months or 100k gallons… It is now only 3 months later and the smell is awful. This was the first time we used this product. Before we used another that lasted over a year. Would not recommend this brand as an option.
