Good Tasting Side Dishes
UPDATE March 2021 - In the latest package of 8 sides that I ordered in early 2021, all pouches had packing or production dates. Two sides were in early 2020 and the other two were in late 2020. So, the ones shipping now should last a while for emergency use. The original packages I bought had Santa Fe rice as a side. However, in this most recent order, the berry cobbler has replaced the rice. So, you now get more sweet fruit.ORIGINAL- I have tried 2 of the 4 side dishes that come in the combo pack (2 of each for 8 total) The apples were firm and sweet with a hint of spice. but not overpowering. The potatoes au gratin were well done, but not too soft. The cheese flavoring was good. I would like to see more or different side dishes, but the vendor says these are the most popular. The sides come from the Wornick Company, a supplier for military MREs. There were no manufacturing or packing dates on the packages, but the description on the Amazon page gave dates of 2017 and 2018 for the various items. So, they should be good for a few more years. I would order more, but they are out of stock as of August 2020.

MRE's
These are some great side dishes to throw in your bag if your hiking or out for the day or night. They are tasty and filling. Just nice to have some extra rations in case things go sideways and you have an emergency..

Outer Package open upon arrival - not sealed
When I received the item, the bottom of the MRE bag was cut open and the items put inside. Not sure where OR why this was done. Can't store it like a MRE full package as it's not fully sealed. Tried to return, but was immediately told, this item is NOT eligible for return. The item was way under 30 days. FYI. Flavor was good.

Tasty filling snack
Great taste and decent size that makes for a great portable snack when hiking/ biking or even just a break food to keep your stomach full till lunch at work

No Cherry Berry Cobbler 4 Chocolate Puddings instead 3/10/22
Not real happy bout that, I really like the Cherry Berry Cobbler......You get 2 Mixed Fruit, 2 Spiced Apples and 4 Chocolate Puddings.........Just so you know Guys.....

I'm glad I found these as I prefer the main dish and a side over a full MRE. These are tasty and exactly what I was looking for.

Package will meets everything for my needs great little item to have around would purchase again. Expiration dates are 5 years out
