Some recipes advise a combination of Hazelnut Flour with other flours or to add extra baking powder/yeast in dishes that need to rise.Quality & Manufacture:The Hazelnut trees used in the production of Organic Hazelnut Flour are cultivated on certified organic land, adhering to the strictest of organic standards. Hazelnuts being to ripen when the leaves on the trees change colour, and this is when the ripe nuts are harvested. Once harvested, the nuts are washed and de-shelled and the very best Hazelnuts are selected to be ground into flour. After a drying period the nuts are milled into a light, fluffly flour then tested for pollutants before being made ready for shipment.
