The Forgotten Tudor Women: Anne Seymour, Jane Dudley & Elisabeth Parr Paperback – October 26, 2018

Quite interesting reading for enthusiasts of the sidelined characters of the Tudor period. A bit too gushing concerting Anne Seymour, but still a good bit of info, and an interesting take!

This is about the strong women in the Tudor. Some good, some not so good. Frankly I think a few were off there rocker. Women were just as Cary back then as now. Makes no difference what century, we are still women. It's a good book, I enjoyed it and I am not going to give away the story. Good reading.

I enjoyed both of the “Forgotten Tudor Women . . . “ books but thought they could have used some better editing. Some odd turns of phrase or poor word choice made for clunky reading. I’d say they are good for filling in historical details but not exactly page turners. Recommend as reference books.

Well written, well researched. Lots of detail of largely unknown families. A good read for Tudor history fans, men and women.

As always, Sylvia Barbara Soberto, colorfully draws the back drown of women, through Tudor Period. With deep go to focus to.players that wives who desperate tried to make nice with Tudor Angers. And make no mistakes the men ruled the world, the women had to find ways work.around a very difficult dance of politics and dance.

I enjoyed the read and learned many new facts.

But very interesting tale of the interconnectedness of the various powerful families and how the women got caught up in all the drama.

Have read about Jane Seymour, but I learned more about her children and Lady Katherine. I have a better understanding of her life and her descendants. I wonder why they have the same name to more than one of their children.

When I begin to study Anne Seymour, Jane Dudley and Elisabeth Parr, I will take advantage of the notes. This book is a great study.

I have been an avid Tudor history reader for many years.I bought this book because the title intrigued me. Was there much more l could learn? Had l read it all before?I am so glad l took the chance and read this book.It is a scholarly work, full of documented evidence, well written and a total revelation.I heard myself saying out loud 'What? Why didn't l know this? Why isn't this woman known about? There is so much information here in such depth.I was being educated. It was great!About time history becomes 'territory'sThank you.
