A Taste of India Masala Rice and Lentils, 6-Ounces (Pack of 6)

We enjoy the Taste of India Masala rice and lentils. It is quick and easy to make, plus it tastes good and is relatively healthy. Haven't tried any of the other Taste of India products.

This makes several meals for me. A little more preparation than some of the other packaged vegan Indian food. Not spicy. I had to add salt.

I expected it to be heat and it. There was a pouch of rice, 2 pouch of spice and a pouch of rasin. Tastes yuck. I had one and throwing away other 5.I would never ever buy it again.

Indian food is one of my favorite cuisines. I did not like this however. It is not spicy and too sweet. On my first attempt, following the directions on the packet in my 1300 watt microwave, the rice was undercooked and needed more time. I haven't bothered to try it again because I didn't enjoy it. I prefer the Taste of Thai Coconut Ginger and Peanut from the same company.

These are delicious, filling meals-in-a-box. I make these at work and everyone runs to the kitchen to see what's cooking. Worth a try!

I'm sorry to say that I didn't like the flavor of this. I love Indian food; but, not this.
