Q: Is the foam the pick and pull type or is it solid foam.

The foam type is "solid"...but it is semi-cut into half-inch squares which allows you to properly "Pick & Pull" out the desired shape of whatever you are putting in the storm case. These are first-class cases !!!

Q: Im having trouble finding a replacement o-ring for this storm case. does anyone know if any of the o-rings for pelican cases work for this im2600?

That I would not know; but, any Pelican purchase is a great purchase.
