Dr. Jill'sHammer Toe Regulator (Budin Splint) Single Toe - 1 Each

Bottom is clean, top against your toes is all ratty, can't return, pita to try to notify seller they're not 1st quality products, I got 2nd one, Thinking it was a fluke, no just as bad. Same name, but not the same product quality as the one I received from Dr.

I have a torn plantar plate in my second metatarsal and hoped this would keep my toe in place while wearing slip-on shoes; I have a neoprene wrap with toe strapping from my doctor that helps with sandals or tennis shoes but it is way too bulky for moccasins or flats; this hammertoe product is still quite bulky and affects gait if you are trying to wear it in a ballet flat or similar shoe. It also is not practical for wearing inside of any athletic shoe that requires a sock. The position of the toe is helped with this product but only if you can tolerate wearing it.

After my hammertoe surgery, the pin started coming out of my second toe and was half way out within four weeks of surgery. The doctor pulled it the rest of the way out and the toe began curling up again. She instructed me to soak my toe in very warm water each day, bend the toe for five (5) minutes, then soak the foot in ice water. The rest of the time I was to wear one of these regulators to hold the toe down. After six (6) months the toe was permanently straightened. This item works much better than another, better-known product (brand starts with a "P") which would not stay on. The first few weeks this item is painful, so you will gradually have to extend the amount of time daily that you use it. After several weeks you will be able to wear it all day.

So far so good wearing it. The only issue is sometimes the splint does come loose while walking with the surgical shoe my doctor is having me wear until healed from surgery. I wear a sock so it does not loose it. It has fallen off and had to locate it. I have tighten the splint as much as I can.ItThe splint is Comfortable and I don’t really feel it on.

Used to correct second toe crossover. Found bottom too thick causing discomfort to bottom of foot

This did help my hammer toe. However, I did go to my doctor and he put pads in my shoe that actually is solving the cause for my hammer toe so I don't need this anymore!

Holds hammer toe down but somewhat hard to wear in shoes. Use it walking around at home. Not sure it will actually correct the problem but as advertised, is a 'toe regulator' and provides some relief.

Helped some, but needed the 2 toe one more
