I spray this in my kids bathroom, on their shower curtain and the rugs. The rugs are dark brown, and the shower curtains are actual black out curtains, I have no issues with staining. I spray from a distance and very lightly. What I have taken notice to is the film it leaves, on the floor. Its almost comparable to an oil film. When you wipe it, it tints the paper towel, a tannish to brown tint, and that depends on how many days I have sprayed in a row, versus, wiping the film up. It does not leave droplets, but a mist of film. The scent is midly sweet, and lingers for hours and I do not spray heavily. I think its appropriate for the space, and what I use it for. I definately would NOT spray it on light colored material, or certain materials ( ex silk or satins ). The price is reasonable and goes a long way. I have almost bought every scent they have, and intend to buy them all.

I bought this bc I have kids rooms, and kids are kids. I wasnt sure what to expect, but the febreeze commercial is what I got. I sprayed twice in a room and could smell it throughout the house. Overwhelming in a good way, we leave the house smelling like glazed donuts.

Love this scent and it makes my vehicle smell great.

With detailing vehicles in the summer heat i interested in the initial smell and how long it would last. Spraying in a clean cabin and carpet with a couple to few sprays under the seats and in both driver side passenger feet rest its a easy recognizing smell. After using half the bottle I filled it up again with water and the smell didn't seem to decrease. Its the longest smells but its solid in the heat and will last longer in winter or colder weather.

it smells kinda powdery? in a way? but once you get past that it smells okay. bottle ended up leaking somehow even though i was super careful (has happened with my other chemical guys products).

Sprayed this heavily in my car. Light scent of glazed donuts at best and then the next morning it was gone. I would not recommend this. I tried the New Car Scent and that was much better and has lasted weeks so far.

I bought this originally for my car but use it in my living room couch instead. Makes the living room smell delicious!

Love how this stuff makes my car smell! Like others have said, the bottle/sprayer is not well made and it leaks all over the place, even when kept upright. Still, not unhappy with my purchase!

Really nice scent. Smells like donuts! Not overpowering or too strong. Will buy again

The smell is amazing, but very short lived. I keep it in my car cup holder and it leaks even though the nozzle is on ‘OFF’ and it’s upright. I would not purchase again

So I really wanted to like this product. I’ve been struggling to find an air freshener for my car. I didn’t want one that I would have to stick into the vent as those can leak, and I didn’t want one I would have to hang on the rear view mirror since I already have something hanging there. I saw this and was interested as it would be perfect for my needs. The scent seemed intriguing so I purchased the larger size as it seemed like the better bang for my buck. Here are some things I found to be noteworthy:1. The smell does not last. I would spray 4-5 sprays and the scent would disappear very quickly.2. Using the spray setting left droplet stains on my car that I had to wipe off with a wet wipe. I can’t imagine what damage the stream setting would do.3. The smell is very nice but again, it does not last.Bottom line, save your money on this product and search for something better. I plan on taking this out of my car as it’s very space consuming and purchasing something worthwhile.

I had a vehicle sitting for a few years and it smelled rank. There were mice living in it and it was just horrible. I tried many things and it still stunk. So I thought I would give this a try. Let me tell you it made my vehicle smell like a bakery. I love it so much I'm ordering 2 more.
