Cheap, but only just adequate.
Not as easy to read as some, scale on both sides of dial doesn’t help, also not convinced that suggested “3 minute rest” before carving meat is adequate.Glass on mine cracked first time it went into oven, though readout still appears ok.Glass started yellowing after used about a dozen times.

Would benefit from an instruction leaflet.
My husband and I like our meat well done but I found, at times, it was overdone. This thermometer has helped me get it right at last

Was great, stopped working
I was really pleased with this leave in meat thermometer, but after a year of use (probably 25 times), it stopped working and didn't show an accurate temperature leading to overcooked meat. No idea why, as it hasn't been dropped etcThe last two joints have been really overcooked despite showing as theoretically rare, so out by 20C & now totally useless.
