Whitmor Split Rattique Driftwood Brown Waste Basket

For a waste basket, this thing is seriously overpriced, but you won't find anything as good looking or functional. I really love the shape of the basket. It's narrow enough to fit in the smallest of places and tall enough to fit a standard grocery bag snuggly over the handles. I looked far and wide for something as good looking, but nothing compared so I gave in and bought it. I don't regret it.

Bought this to replace a terrible one I had in my home office And after working from home due to Covid the old one had to go. This is nice quality and sturdy. I actually measured it to be sure it would fit Under the desk so the size wasn’t a shock to me. I think most woven baskets are over priced so for this one I think the quality is worth the price. It would be appropriate for a bathroom or a bedroom as well.

I got this basket for a bathroom trash basket that would be attractive and able to be washed/wiped clean. A real wicker basket would warp with time if water/cleanser was used to clean/disinfect. Because this is resin, I thought it would stand up to repeated throughout the year(s). I very specifically did not want to cover it up with a trash bag. Unfortunately, around the bottom edge, there are small holes wear the weaving doesn't quite cover the entire bottom of the basket, not a mistake in design per se but not helpful in a basket meant to contain small items - such as qtips! We use a lot of qtips in our daily routine so this won't be useful in our master bath where I intended it. <sigh> That's why I removed one star - without an insert, this is slightly less effective for my purposes. Instead, I put this in the hall/guest bath where the majority of the trash will be tissues, etc. Otherwise, a beautiful and serviceable trash basket!

I bought this for my bathroom to replace a really small plastic garbage and am very pleased with my purchase. It came in excellent condition and has plenty of room. I took the advice of looping my grocery bag liner over the handles on top and this gives a nice large opening to hit the basket from every direction. I will be getting another for my bedroom. - kj

Nice waste basket, but not a good idea if you want to put a bag in it as it's rectangular. Not easy to clean unless you physically put water on it which I don't think I want to do considering it's a wicker type of basket. But it is really a nice waste basket for the bathroom, it looks very classy, and I do like it.

I looked online forever for the right bathroom garbage can to replace my old one that I absolutely hated from day one. I love this one ! My old bathroom garbage can had a lid on it and it was too small. Such a pain! I feel freed with this wonderful open can! It is the perfect size for a bathroom. It's not too small and it's big enough that I don't miss it when casually tossing garbage towards it. I feel fancy with my new garbage can which is ridiculous but true.

I needed a waste paper basket in this shape to fit into a Smaller bathroom and I'm Very happy with this purchase, it looks even better in person - really beautiful and a Perfect fit for the space where I have it, I Highly recommend this basket!!
