Panasonic Doltz Compact Oral Jet Washer | AC100-240V | EW-DJ40 W White

I opted for the fast EMS shipping, and it arrived from Japan in under a week. (I bought this as a replacement to a cordless Waterpik model that had given up the ghost after only a couple of weeks of use, due to water leaking into the charging port.) I have been using the Panasonic now for about 2 and 1/2 months now, and so far, I am very happy w/ it, and have had no problems. It feels very well constructed, easy enough to keep clean, works well, holds enough water, and has excellent battery life. It took a little time to get used to the shape of the handle and to figure out the most efficient way to maneuver it around my mouth, but I've finally gotten the hang of it. I use it at least once a day, sometimes twice a day, and I charge it about once every 2 weeks. The slider on/off switch does not protrude very far, and it is fairly firm, so at first I found it a little hard to get a grip on it when it got wet and slippery, but w/ a little practice I've gotten the hang of it.6-month update: Still going strong. I am finding that charging it about every 3 weeks is more than adequate. I use it twice a day, at the high setting. Towards the end of the 3-week period, the power does decline slightly, but it's more than enough power. I clean it w/ hydrogen peroxide every couple of days - I just pour a little into the reservoir, swish it around, and run the unit for a few seconds to flush out the inside. So far, it's staying very clean - looks as good today as it did on Day One. very happy w/ this product.. I'm upping the rating to 5 stars.

Seems to work okay but has a large charger that has to be used with an adapter (included). Large and awkward for travel. Amazon should include this information in the description. I

I didn't even take it out of the package.I thought I was ordering the EW DJ10A that I previously owned. This one has less capacity.

My fiancé doesn't like regular floss but since we got this, he's been "flossing" everyday, which is a great thing! I used to use regular floss but this makes my gum feel so clean in much shorter time than regular floss and I like that my gum gets massaged unlike regular floss. We are glad we bought it. Good pressure.

My 2nd unit, I bought my 1st one in Japan. This model is the one with rechargeable built-in battery. Very versatile, much better than the removable 2-AA batteries model (also own one). One charge lasts for months on my trips.

Best ever! This is my second one. I lost one at the hotel and couldn't live without it.
