The Holy Cow And Other Indian Stories English Edition

After a visit to India recently i was advised to read this book, it puts all the facts into catagories and is easy but very interesting to read. It highlights exactly what you need to know about the Indian culture and the pictures/illustrations are of vibrant colours. Overall i think its a must even if you are not visiting India its a good insight into there history and way of life.

Not quite as described!!! The book was cleanish but the book leaves were almost falling out. It looked well read, and wouldn't be very good to give to someone as a gift

not impressed with the seller. The book was advertised as 'English version' but was in French. It was a birthday present too, and very disappointing.

Gives a true account

I visited India 2 years ago and I was lucky to buy this book on my fourth day there when I went to Varanasi. The book is full of fantastic stories and details of how India has become what it is today and it helps to understand the feast for all the senses which one experiences visiting the country. I'm sure all tourist guides use it as a reference. It left me wanting to know more, so when I came back to the UK I e-mailed Mr Chopra and asked him about many of the things I had seen. I cannot wait for the second part!. An absolute must if you are planning to go.
