CollectA Prehistoric Marine Life Hydrotherosaurus Toy Dinosaur Figure - Authentic Hand Painted & Paleontologist Approved Model

This figure was smaller than I thought but that was my fault for not reading the description more carefully. It is a very detailed and colorful model and also quite sturdy. It has a lot of sharp points to it, such as the tail and the fins and the head. As a result it might not be the best toy for a young child. However, an older child, 3+, with an interest in dinos should love it.

First of, all be aware that this is indeed a small figure. It's wonderfully detailed and the paint job is quite nice, but keep in mind that two of them could fit comfortably inside a can of Coke.The quality seems to be good, and I've had no issues with the paint or the plastic itself.For the collector, this is a very nice figure to have but a more fair price would've been around $5-6 dollars, based just on size.

This is more of a figurine. The neck and head are thinner than a pencil.

This dinosaur has a nice paint job, and looks fairly realistic. My six year old daughter loves it. After seeing Jurassic World she wanted a sea creature of course, and this is the one she picked. She has a large collection of animals, and I'm kind of picky about which ones we buy. I can't stand some of those cheap plastic animals with the horrible paint jobs. Papo, Schleich, and some of the Safari are usually really nice realistic figures with nice paint jobs. I've only had one Collect A horse which looked really nice in the beginning, but the paint scratched off of it really easy. Not sure why, but hopefully this one will last. So far, it seems pretty durable.

My boys love dinosaurs. This one is a little small but they don’t mind.
