Anji Mountain Kerala Jute Area Rug, 8 ft, Natural

Rug was much lighter than pictured, but I like it. It rolled out nice and laid flat immediately. It is soft to walk on, like one of the other reviewers said. It is just the look I was going for in my nature themed family room. My one concern is that the first time I vacuumed it, there were long threads in my vacuum brush head. That happened again a couple of weeks later. I'm hoping my rug doesn't eventually come apart, as I vacuum once a week. I looked it over and could not see any gaps in the rug, so I'm hoping they were just loose, left over threads from when it was sewn together. Over all, I am pleased with it.

It's coming apart

I read the other reviews but decided to try it anyway. The color is really off in the picture. It is a natural (like the color of straw or hay) NOT ivory.That's the only thing I can say about the rug because I returned it right away when I saw the color.They should really change the color name in the description. Hope that helps!

The center of rug pokes up so it looks like a sombrero. Not sure if they are all like that or if mine is defective. Would not buy again, unless I knew it was flat.

I'm picky, I like quality and also a good price, I often buy things at Amazon and find what I want then read the reviews.The photo of this rug was exactly what I was looking for and when I read a review that said it laid flat right away I was sold.It arrived wrapped nicely protected by two sturdy layers of plastic. When unrolled it laid flat right away the colors were just as they were in the picture and I was so pleased! The texture of this rug is soft. Do not hesitate to buy it's perfect!!!

Exactly what I was hoping for...not scratchy like many grass rugs can be. I put a felt pad under it and now I am very pleased with the way it looks and feels. However I may have to stitch the end with a whip stitch to conceal it better and to keep it from fraying there.

It's very nice for limited wear & tear. I wouldn't recommenrd it for a home that ha active children or pets. It is sbject to being pulled apart. but quite nice otherwise & yes it does need a quality pad under it.

Beautiful rug, not rough or scratchy.The color on the website shows to be a bit more white/cream. Its more of a tan color in person.
