Run way too small
I found the Arrow 1851 Poplin short sleeve shirts for summer perfect for me. The material was of the perfect thickness, the wrinkle free aspect worked great and the fit was truly true to size. So when it came time for winter and long sleeve shirts I looked for the same type of Arrow shirts down to the exact same ratio of polyester and cotton in its blend. I was very disappointed in the quality. It was nothing like the high standards associated with the short sleeve shirts. The material here was much thinner and the size L I got, same as with the short sleeve, fit like a snug medium. I was so very disappointed. I had thought I had found a brand I could rely on but after matching the criteria of both shirts pretty much 100% the difference in quality, fit and durability was beyond noticeable. This shirt was so tight I could in no way wear a t-shirt under it if I wanted. Sadly I had to return the two of this brand I purchased and am on a search for better quality and reliability. Can't recommend.

Neither Big Nor Tall
I’m 6’4 with a 52-54 waist depending on the pants. I’m 58” chest. I reliably wear a 21 neck in a dress shirt which is a slightly odd size. A 4XLT shirt almost always fits. I’m long in the torso so I definitely need a tall shirt. I’m not fond of the current “athletic cut” trend as they pull at the buttons around my middle when I sit. I’m not terribly athletic. I was hoping this shirt would be what I was looking for. According to the size chart a 4XLT should have fit. It wasn’t even close. The buttons were probably 6” from buttoning and the side vents would barely have made it below my belt. It fit more like a 2xl. I’m not sure if it was mis-labeled or if this is how they are sized. I didn’t notice if there was a 5XLT but I don’t think it would have fit either. The stitching was also sloppy and the material felt scratchy. If the shirt had fit I would have overlooked the other two criticisms. At this price range the stitching could have been overlooked and the fabric may have softened a bit. It doesn’t even come close to fitting so back it goes.

Nice shirts, good wear, get ‘em on sale
These are great, comfortable shirts. The poplin is lighter than oxford so they make a good spring/summer shirt.I have five of these shirts in different colors/patterns, my favorites being Deep Navy Blazer and Deep Rosin. One of the shirts is about a year old (my trial shirt) and the others just came in last week.My neck/arm measurements are 16.5”/33-34 and a size L shirt fits me well. I can’t comment on the neck fit when buttoned all the way to the top because I’ve never done that, nor do I ever intend to (this is a casual shirt, right?). Neck fit is great otherwise. The sleeves are a touch too short, but I roll my sleeves for comfort (once again, casual), so I take no issue with that. There’s enough ‘paunch’ space for me, too (45” chest, 39” true waist measurement) without being excessively baggy. As my trial shirt has aged it shows wrinkles more easily but it still remains wrinkle-free if it moves from the dryer to a hangar while it’s still warm. No areas that are going threadbare or seams coming loose, etc. so far. The collar has kept its form.Despite now nice I think they are, IMO they’re not worth the normal price tag—that could just be because I’m a tightwad. I wait to buy until they can be had on sale between $16-18 each.

The perfect business casual shirt
I bought a couple of these shirts for work and they are exactly what I wanted. Very soft, muted patters and colors, require only a light iron touch up out of the dryer (most would probably not bother, but I'm a little picky about this), and they FIT. They stay nice-looking and wrinkle-free throughout the dayI'm 6'4 with most of my height in the trunk, and the XLT fits perfectly. Many of the shirts you find in tall sizes (not that you find that many) pay only lip service to tall people to make a sale. These actually are tall size shirts. The tail stays tucked in.I'm very happy with this shirt.

Worth it for me...
I'll start with I am 5'11 and 230 and I went XXL, I wish they did a XL Tall. The fit is fairly good considering. I liked these shirts because of the price. They are good for what I need and I ordered several in different colors. They aren't free of flaws however the ones that came that were the collar was sewed wrong, missing a button, or etc. we're easily returned. I needed shirts for a new managers position that allows for casual dress. If I stare at these shirts I notice a loose thread or a thread that was sewed weird, however doesn't effect the shirt or fit. This doesn't bother me because this was a very inexpensive shirt and it still looks good on me. For the price, it's a buy and out of 11 shirts I had to return 2 for exchange. The fit has been consistent so this review will be the same for the others that I write(copy paste)

Arrow has changed their sizing
I have a closet full of arrow shirts and the last 2 I purchased were slightly smaller around the middle making them too small. My fault for thinking the brand that I'd always purchased in the exact same size as the rest of my shirts wouldn't make a change. Don't understand why clothing companies do this, especially in a world with so many online sales.Frustrating!!

Smaller than expected.
I intentionally bought from a Big and Tall line because I'm 6'4 and relatively thin with a long torso. Regular lines just aren't long enough top to bottom or in sleeve length. I'm unhappy with the overall length, especially the sleeve length. The sleeves were barely ok out the package but after one normal cycle wash and dry, the arms are too short now. It's mostly disappointing because otherwise I love the shirt and it's pretty wrinkle free and very comfortable. Sadly it's now a "hand me down" to my son. With times the way they are, I really cannot afford another one because they're not cheap shirts.

Perfect shirt for a big/tall man.
The print is small and attractive, good for casual or dress wear. Size actually was roomy. I have a difficult time finding shirts for my husband, he gets discouraged trying shirts on that end up being too tight, even though they say 3X.I cut and hem the tail, cause he doesn't like to wear them in. He's very happy with the 2 new shirts .The price was a bargain but I would've paid twice that to get this quality.

For round, fat guys.
This shirt does not fit like the photos show, but it might be good for you if you're fairly fat and round.I'm 5'10", 200 lbs, and I have a slight belly from gaining the Covid 19 (lbs). I have relatively wide shoulders and big legs, which tells you where some of the weight is. I'm not a very big guy overall, and I'm not a particularly fat guy, though I'd like to lose some weight. I have longer-than-average arms, and I ordered a shirt with some extra neck room because I don't like to cut off blood flow when I'm forced to wear a tie for work. All of that translates to a 16.5" neck and 35" arms for me.The neck width and arm length were fine, but I don't understand how these are called "regular-fit" shirts, except that maybe the majority of people are simply big and fat. I've now tried a couple of regular-fit shirts ordered through Amazon, namely from Arrow and Kenneth Cole, and frankly, they're all for round, fat guys. In spite of the misleading photos of fitted shirts on trim guys, these shirts are very billowy, with tons of extra material around the arms and torso, and the shoulders don't end where they should, even when the arms are the right length. I've sent them all back. If you're not a round fat guy, you'll be unsatisfied with this shirt and similar "regular-fit" shirts just as I have been.As for alternatives, I've also tried some slim-fit shirts, including Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole, and the absolute winner for fit is Amazon Essentials. The Amazon Essentials shirt is fitted enough to look good and make me feel confident in my look, and generous enough to be comfortable and not tight. It actually fits pretty much as it seems to in the photos. The big brands are okay too, but the Amazon Essentials shirt is even better, as the cut is better for my square shoulders, meaning that the shirt doesn't bulge at the back of the neck. Those other shirts seem to be cut for people with sloping shoulders, and therefore they do have a the weird below-the-back-of-the-neck bulge that I often get with off-the shelf shirts — but if your shoulders are lower than mine those other slim-fit shirts might fit you well, without the bulge.

Great quality, but watch the sizes, they're American fit, not Canadian
I ordered this, and two other shirts, and they all arrived. I bought 3xl large, not tall. Well, I swam in them. Sleeves were too long, shoulders too big, etc. So, I had to return the three, and buy 2xl (in Canada, I am a 3xl bordering on 4xl). So my advice to you men...buy a size down. But in saying that, these shirts are really wrinkle resistant, look decent, fit fairly well (sleeves are an issue, but they always are, so I don't fault the brand), and they feel so damned good on, not one sweaty neck in sight. If you spend too much time at the buffet table (or in my case, over a grill in the backyard), and aren't twelve feet tall, these are the shirts for you. Love mine, absolutely love them.

Pretty good shirt.
The shirt is nice. A little thin compared to higher end shirts like Duluth. That's my new go to, but its more expensive to get into Canada (after duty and shipping) Still, I like this shirt and its wrinkle resistance was as described. Not bad, good price. I will buy again. I wear a large (north American size) and this shirt was a large and fit well.
