I bought this to use to take the temperature of hot liquids (up to around 100-degrees C). I thought I might have to use a glass (candy) thermometer for this, but this economical digital thermometer works fine. You can toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature scales and the metal sensor is easy to clean. The body of the thermometer is a very cheap plastic and doesn't look like it will hold up to long use. We'll see how long the battery lasts... So far, though, this was an inexpensive thermometer for my weekly or monthly projects. I'd have given the thermometer five stars IF the body had been more durable. No matter how well a unit works, if it ends up in a landfill or the ocean soon because its cheap plastic body breaks easily or soon, it's not a sustainable product.

7 months later and the Turkey broke the thermometer. I thought this was for food thats why I bought and the 1st time I used it the Turkey temperature must have been too much to handle. Don't buy its obvious this thermometer can't handle the heat in the kitchen. Bad buy for meat...

I purchased the thermometer to use with my air fryer. Very easy to use and helpful on making sure meats are cooked properly in the air fryer.

It broke down after two months of use. It's not that the battery is dead, it's that the product itself is dead.

A few moments before you orderDelivery is fast, had a plastic case. I was thinking I can keep the thermometer in the case but cup does’t hold the item inside. Be careful: If you make any angle when you’re holding case in your arm it can fall with the cup. The second minus: sometimes the battery stops working and thermometer doesn’t work (I think it because the bottom cover doesn’t push the battery good enough to plug-in contact). Summarizing all above 3 stars.
