New LBG, same fun.
Game arrived quickly--in time for Christmas. The game itself is fun. Some levels are more difficult than in LBG 1&2, but they don't seem impossible. There are A LOT of items to get (stickers, costumes, and the usual). In my opinion, there are more items in this game than the previous versions. Playing various characters (i.e., a bird, a doofy big/little guy, a dog) adds something new and fun. The game has another new and involved storyline, similar to the surprising amount of story in previous versions. It's the same LBG with a twist to make the 3rd installment unique within the series--and remaining familiar to longstanding fans.My only critique is that there are a few weird glitches. I found myself floating off of the game level once or twice, but it hasn't happened so often that it ruined the game.Unlike many other series of different titles, LBG delivers another fun game that doesn't fall short of its predecessors.

This is an amazing addition to the LBP family with new characters and greater diversity of movement, new stories and challenges. Even if you're not familiar with LBP 1-2 or Karting this is an extremely creative and imaginative game for kids (and adults) of all ages. The story is fun with some decent action and conflict but nothing too dark for kids. All the trophies and collectibles from the other versions of the game carry over into LBP-3 and the create mode is head and shoulders above the create platforms of the other versions of the game.

Good for crazy, screaming fun. Not for quiet chill time.
It's a great game overall, though it depends what you're looking for. I have LOVED lbp 1 and 2, so I thought "What the heck?!" might as well get lbp3 to complete my collection, right? Part of the reason i liked the other two was because of their simple beauty and pretty music, that I felt to be calm but exhilarating. That all changes. You are met with crazy graphics, loud noises, and fast paced, terror. Now, I personally like this new little big planet; but keep in mind, this is not the game you know and love. It proves to be very fun, but often laggy and glitchy. Everything is so crazy-in-your-face gaming (if that is a saying?) that is gets hard to keep up. I've been kinda down on lbp 3, so here are some good things about it:If you like action, this is the game for you! Be prepared to scream loudly (hope you didn't like those neighbors!) while being chased by something that resembles a garbage compacter, then shapeshifting into a small box-like creature while trying to escape the wrath of a librarian. So basically, I like LBP3, but no longer for the elegance and relaxing tunes to play with your 4 year old daughter.

Fun for the whole family and educational.
This game is great! It's one of the only games that I actually like playing with my kids. The best part about all of the LittleBig Planet games is that there is a very good create mode. Instead of the kids mindlessly playing video games they are learning how to build creative levels, object, cars, plains, you name it. There is even basic computer langue logic that you can add to objects to make them react to players and other objects. I never though my 6 year old would be using the fundamental skills needed to create computer programs but LBP makes it fun and he doesn't even realize he's learning a great skill for life.

Delighted shouts from a ten-year-old: best review ever
Our grandson loves it. He is ten years old. We gave this to him for Christmas, and he was so excited when he got it, he squealed with joy! I don't know that there could ever be a better review than the delighted shouts of a ten-year-old. I have played LBP 1 and 2, but my grandson, of course, is much better at it than I am. He loves playing the game and customizing it. Little Big Planet is clever, quirky, imaginative, and fun!

This one is a complete waste of time
This is the first time I ever wrote a review...and only because this game pissed the s*** out of me this evening. Part 1 and 2 superb games. This one is a complete waste of time. The first load took 25+ minutes. Then load and load again and again. Very frustrating to play this game especially with little ones that want to see action quickly not load screens.

Nice Changes for LBP3
My 5 year old son is a little lost with this latest version, but my 9 year old daughter loves it. However, she finished the story line over the weekend. So I don't think this was worth the price. I should have waited until it dropped in price. Learned my lesson. We have all 3 versions on PS3. My kids still play LBP 2 more often because not too many of their online friends have LBP 3 yet. But this version is still great fun
