The Totally Crab Cookbook (Totally Seafood Series)

This cute little book has given me lots of ideas for using eggplant. I've always loved it, and now I can branch out and try new recipes. So glad I got it as a Christmas present to myself!

Bought this for a friend, mostly as a joke. Not sure there are any recipes I'd make, but then, I don't tolerate eggplant all that well - digestive upset sure to follow. If you like the veggie, go for it.

We gave away baskets for the holidays this year with a crab theme. These little books fit in perfectly. There are several very good recipes and you cannot beat the price. Some Old Bay Seasoning, a couple of crab crackers and picks, a loaf of homemade french bread and a jar of tarter sauce along with the book made a very special gift.

Let's be clear here--this is a TINY book. I was giving it as a gift and had no idea my recipient would have to hold it open in one hand while cooking with the other. Very impractical. I don't know if the recipes are good or not, but the size should be stated very clearly in the description.

Was a little disappointed with this cookbook. I find the binding method inconvenient for a cookbook as it will not open up and stay flat. The first time I try a recipe, I like to keep the recipe page open in case I have to refer to it. There was not the variety in recipes I had hoped to find.

Fun book to look at whether you make the recipes or not! But I do hope to make some of them!

Great for gift giving...has some delicious recipes and is a cute crab shaped design.
