Gets the job done.
Does the job - a bit flimsy and soft but, then, that is how silicon is. Truth be told I can make a better poached egg using a round biscuit cutter made from a tin can in the 1870s. Purchased it for $6.00 from an antique dealer and it makes a perfect poached egg in short order. Problem is that the handle is soldered to the metal ring. A bit of research reveals that solder us in the 1800s had lead incorporated within the solder. I am fearful that this lead will leach out into the water which then is used to cook the eggs. Another alternative would be to remove both lids from a modern day tuna can. Fact is the egg poacher is cute and it works. The little egg which its on top of the orange ring is flexible enough so as to not preclude using a pot lid when poaching the eggs. Doing so will hasten the cooking time although, invariably, it will also cause the water in the pan to spill over onto your stove. If you do use a pot lid over the frying pan wherein you are poaching the eggs, turn down the heat to a low setting. When you drop the egg into the ring, some of it will spill out through the bottom and into the water but it is a very small amount and not enough to deter one from using the rings to cook the egg. With the biscuit cutter, virtually none spills out through the bottom because the metal is much heavy and makes a tighter seal with the pot. It also cooks the egg better but then who wants lead in their breakfast. The egg rings do the done. Now one caution I will advise is that you NOT purchase the silicon egg cups manufactured by the same company and also designed to poach eggs. They are also very cute but unlike these rings, the eggs in cups never seem to get cooked. Even after 5-6 minutes the yolk was virtually raw. Cute or no cute, don't purchase the cups for this purpose. I suppose they would be fine for melting butter or heating up hollindaise sauce. Lots of people (including me) like to put this sauce on poached eggs. Hollandaise sauce burns very easily hence these silicon cups would offer a solution to the problem of heating up the sauce without burning it. Another not-so-hot "egg item " is the egg spatula which also a member of this set. The spatula is extremely tiny and very flimsy. I was shocked at how small it is. I would be surprised if even one egg fit on it when the time came to lift the egg out of the cooking pot. I would also be surprised if it could hold one egg with out bending. It is really small and flimsy. Getting back to the rings, once the egg is cooked, you remove the rings using the little handle leaving the poached egg sitting in a frying pan of water while you pick up the spatula. Next, you slip a spatula under the egg(s) and transfer it(them)to a plate - works fine. If you don't want the yolks runny, then you need to cook the eggs in the ring for 5-6 minutes. For this purpose, I use the egg timer which is also part of the set. Cute and useful. I use the hour glass one and turn it over after the first 3 minutes. Cleanup is easy enough. Eggs don't much stick to the ring aside from some small residue easily removed with a dash of detergent on dish cleaning pad. All in all, the biscuit cutter does a better job but then who needs lead poisoning.

Cute, but could work better
I use flat griddles to cook eggs. Since my stove isn't level, sometimes some egg white slides off the griddle onto the stovetop. I thought these would solve that problem and make the eggs easier to turn over by keeping them round and smaller. These keep the yolks and most of the white contained. But since the rings aren't entirely flat, some egg white still escapes. The rings have to be oiled or sprayed with oil to keep the whites from sticking to them. They aren't dishwasher-safe, so they must be washed by hand. While they're more labor-intensive than I thought they'd be, they're helpful in keeping my eggs off the stovetop.

They work... most of the time
They’re great and great idea too however one of them doesn’t adhere to the bottom of the pan as good as the other one. And I can’t find out why for the life of me. It’s not a major problem as it only lets out a bit of the egg white at the beginning of pouring an egg inside it but just the fact that it does spill is a bummer and the other one doesn’t spill at all and yet looks identical. I love them otherwise and would love to get two more that work perfectly as they really make cooking eggs simple and quick!

Amazing
As stupid as these things are, they are fantastic! They’re soo easy to use. I recommend spraying with Pam before use. You don’t have to. I just find the eggs don’t stick as much when used. They’re great for English muffins and bagels. The eggs fit perfectly! I love them!

Good but…
Good, but if your pan is not completely flat, stuff will leak out the bottoms. I didn’t think my pan was warped at all but these showed me it was because they leaked underneath a lot. So if you have perfectly flat bottoms on your pans, you’re good!
