Our dog has always had a sensitive digestive system. We switched to home made meat, veg and rice food for him because all commercial foods give him soft-liquid poo and seem to irritate his belly. He has more energy and seems happier with the home made food. And he LOVES the home made food too. He will eat commercial food grudgingly but the home made food he begs for. However he is getting to be an old man and he had a bought of pancreatitis some months back. His poo just never recovered from that. It was thick orange pudding for months. We tried everything to settle it out and then someone recommended this stuff to me. It improved his poo in 3 days. It went from orange pudding to firmer brown and stayed there. And my dog doesn’t mind eating it in the morning.It calls for two scoops for his weight but I started with one scoop and that did so much that I left it there. One scoop is a lot of powder for one meal so if I did two I’d give it with a later meal. I’m also cautious because some dogs with pancreatitis seem to have trouble with probiotics. This hasn’t upset his system at all at one scoop so I’m happy to leave it there for now.Well worth a try if your dog has digestive issues. It’s easy to use, doesn’t have a bad smell and can work wonders on your dogs belly.

My cats won't touch even the tastiest of foods with even the tiniest hint of this product in it. I wasted a few cans trying to get them to try it; one of them took a single bite and probably warned the other because neither has ever given it another shot. It has a very strong smell (sort of like a weird combo of plants and cocoa powder?) so I can't really blame them; if somebody mixed it into my food I wouldn't eat it either. :DIt also arrived in completely different packaging than what's pictured; I initially tried to send it back thinking I was sent the wrong thing, but bear in mind they don't accept returns for this. The ingredients and values seem to be the same so I guess at some point they dramatically changed the package and I received an old package, but it appears to still be the same product.

The people complaining about this looking different do not know what they are ordering. Mercola has a regular probiotic that is white in color. This is "whole food" probiotic and has some things in it (like algae) that make it a dark green color. I prefer this type and my dog does better on it than the regular probiotic. I have used Mercola products for years and have very rarely disliked any of them. But, this one, in my opinion, is better than the regular probiotic. Please read the description before you buy. Don't blame the product because it doesn't look like what you thought you bought.

My dog loves the taste - no smell, Mix it uip in My Dogs' food - he eats it heartily. I guess it has no taste - I personally, haven't tasted it, but if the Dog eats it up, very ok & giving him healthy nutrition. He's a 15 year old Italian Greyhound & he still has a lot of vim (energy) & playfulness in him. 100% Recommend the product1! Animals need health products, as well, as humans (especially since their life span isn't like ours), We love them & we want to keep them here with us as long as possible, so good nutrition is key.

Everybody needs to know about Dr mercola's pet products because at least 90% of all people don't know how to take care of their pets, but this is how you do it buy at least one of his products and mix it into the dog or cat's food and then it makes their food "premium"..... It gives the cats and dogs more vitality, it balances their system, It's incredibly important that everybody knows about these products I'm very very serious nobody should feed their pets without these products and my cats just love it (It tastes like beef)

My dog has been on the supplement for 12 days and slowly she is showing improvement. It will take more time to be sure but so far I am happy with overall improvement.

Cat won't eat it. I bought this one by mistake. Kitty needs the other probiotic not this one with the enzymes. Now I have wasted money as it is pricey.
