Very good
Used for splitting washing machine water supply to a new dishwasher. Came next day, perfect quality, did the job. Easy to fit yourself, only had to move the washing machine out to reach supply. Once water isolated twist on hand tight and no leaks. The two ball valves work great, bit stiff first time but watertight.

Very sturdy and secure, definite trade up from plastic
This Y tap is very good, no leaks as soon as it was fitted. It’s separate brass screw makes it so simple to fit to your main line by holding the Y and screwing the thread down instead of rotating the whole fitting to secure. I have not had any problems with leaks or loss in pressure whatsoever, I have used ptfe tape on all points as a habit for extra security but see no need to use it as the points are very tight and secure when fitting. The separate taps are smooth to operate and hold the water back very well when not needed (I tested this with plenty of towels ready but not needed)

Good but first one had manufacturing fault
Although I haven’t operated the valves many times - they work well when I do and are effective at stopping the water flow. However, I suggest that the quality control isn’t great as attachments couldn’t thread far on one of the outlets (on the first one sent). As there was no obvious damage to the thread, it was likely to be due to a manufacturing fault. The item was returned and the replacement works perfectly.

Great product. Well made. Good price.
Great product for my needs. Solidly made. I needed to be able to fix a garden sprinkler timer which needs the screw thread fitment and a hose lock fitment with a screw thread. The timer sprinkler needs to be on all the time or you have to reset it. I can now use the other outlet for a Hozelock connector so I can use my other hose without taking the timer off. Also allows you to turn both flows on or off. I can now leave my timer undisturbed and use my garden hose for cleaning the car etc.

Nifty little gadget, does exactly what it's designed to do
Easy to fit and works a treat, no leaks. Very robust. My only criticism and partly down to my stiff hands, but the on/off switches are a bit hard and fiddly to turn but that doesn't distract from what is the perfect solution to dividing a tap's water supply.

Easy to install
I brought this to connect my dishwasher and washing machine. It leaked at first but after I tightened it, it was fine. I also forgot to twist the arrow things (not sure what they're called lol) so I used a screwdriver to twist them to allow the water to flow.Works great.

Why Buy a Plastic one when you can have solid brass cheaper
We just installed an irrigation system in the garden and needed to have a split connector for the water supply. One side for irrigation and the other for the garden hose. I looked at loads of specialist garden stuff, which were all plastic and to be honest, not worth the money. This is a really sturdy piece of kit and actually designed for washing machines etc, but does the job perfectly. It's as cheap as the plastic ones and should last a lot longer, because it's solid brass. It even has a little lever tap on each side to stop the flow if you need to disconnect one side or the other with the water supply turned on. Why buy plastic?

Solid and sturdy but difficult to install at first
This is almost a solid piece of brass with two plastic valves inside, one in each end.I found that the valves were impossible to turn by hand and continued to strain and hurt my hand doing so until I figured that a wrench would give me more leverage. Once I used that, the levers for the valves turn fine, but it would be good to know that upfront. It does form a tight seal but did leak at first when i installed it due to installing the pipes to each end causing it to turn and loosen.
