Advanced but written to be quite easily understood. Reading one chapter, penny drops on why sentences are constructed in this way.Has helped us advance our Portuguese alongside our online course which doesn’t spend time to explain grammar.

The book arrived in great condition.It is what you look for in a Grammar book. Contains good amount of tips and can be very detailed at times.It has helped me a lot to create a foundation.Advise you to buy if you are looking to learn some Portuguese (Portugal)

Portuguese is a difficult language to learn in the UK. This book has helped ebourmously: well laid out, very readable, excellent explanations about Portuguese grammar and verbs. Logically laid out and well presented by an obvious expert! What can I say: It is simply the best! I just wish I had had this book 5 years ago!!!

A bit disappointed that this doesn't have interactive exercises like the other one I bought by the same author. Also, I don't know what kind of printing process they use, but the ink has a kind of plasticky smell. But pretty good value for the price.

I'm trying a new class to learn Portuguese and a lady recommended this a she uses it 'like her bible' she bought it in Portugal, so I went online and it's much cheaper even with postage. I have yet to get into it but it looks really good very clear and I hope this will help me improve.

This is very well thought out, and very useful guide to Portuguese grammar, particularly if you are familiar with Spanish and/or Latin. It is also surprisingly readable for a grammar book. There are few grammar books available for Portuguese and all the grammatical areas are covered carefully together with useful phrases.

I highly recommend this grammar guide. For a compact, light book, it's packed with the essentials to understand the building blocks of the Portuguese language.

its not worth the price . It is a thin book and not enough examples to comprehend the matter. For the price I was really expecting and in depth book and it is not. Just about barely explains concepts. No examples for context makes it difficult to understand

This is the best book for basic Portuguese learning. This is the exact book that I used when I was first learning Portuguese for my LDS mission to Mozambique (a former Portuguese Colony). Most know that Mormon missionaries go off to foreign lands and return speaking their mission language fluently. This book guided me through the entire language with great examples and tips. My brother will be going to Brazil this fall so I ordered this book for him to start learning. He's already getting the basics down after a few weeks. If it is good enough for the Missionary Training Center of the LDS Church, it is good enough for the average Portuguese learner.

I've been studying Portuguese for several years and this book is great! Very concise and great for quick references to all the grammatical rules. Would recommend this to any advanced beginner/intermediate learner. Honestly, even advanced learners could benefit from this book.
