Madjax GDV3GKG Golf Cart Wood Grain Dash - Fits 08+ Club Car Precedent

The media could not be loaded.  Dash is pretty cheap doors don’t open very well when installed especially the right side door hangs up. Locks are plastic and cheap. Seems quite a bit over priced to me.

We live in a community that allows golf carts on most public streets (nearly all with 25 MPH speed limits), and use ours as a "2nd car" locally. Though we can frequently park our cart near enough to the restaurant or other business to keep an eye on it, we wanted a locking dash compartment for extra security. This product does that well, and so attractively that we purchased a matching steering wheel cover for a classy, more car-like look.My husband did the installation, which he found neither super-simple or frustratingly difficult.Bottom line: highly recommended even though the price has increased since our purchase.

Quick response and correction to a slightly damaged dash I received. Dash looks great on the cart.

Use an ice pick and a flashlight to line holes up when reinstalling your trim, Leave Torx screw a little less tight so you can nudge the dashboard into perfect position otherwise there may be a gap at each end. Then moderately tighten Torx screen.

Ad said it fits 08+ club car, I have a 2016 club car precedent and had to cut out a notch in the new dash to make it fit. There is a power outlet on the right side of the steer column that protrudes, so had to cut out notch. It still does not completely move the dash all the way to the left to cover the entire opening. Once I cut the notch I had to keep it anyway. I didn't think I could return it with a notch cut out in it. It still looks OK.

Fit and looks great.Packing tape on inside of doors left a sticky residue that needs to be cleaned with goof off.

Would like to have been a shade lighter, but it's ok. Didn't fit down in slot behind ball rack, but is secure
