Crane & Co. Pearl White Kid Finish Monarch Sheets (PS7111)

I embraced email at first but now find it soulless after finding boxes of letters from my family dating back to World War 1. There's just something about seeing someone's handwriting and holding something THEY held! Hard to find stationery of any kind and Cranes is really lovely. You can write on both sides. It's classy. LOVE IT!

I purchased the Crane Pearl White 32 lb. premium weight Executive size paper to print invitations at the office. The box specifically states "guaranteed for use with laser printers, inkjet printers, and copiers." However, when I inserted the paper into my Brother LaserJet printer at the office, the ink smeared all over the paper and ruined the invitations. It was a waste of money (and more importantly time) to quickly find a substitute option of paper so that we could send the invitations on time. Because this type of paper was not readily available locally, we went with an inferior paper product that ruined the esthetic of our project. Very disappointed in the paper (or at least the guaranteed promise that it could be printed in a laser printer). I work at a nonprofit, so it felt like a waste of precious resources to re-print.

I had this stationery many, many years ago, and when my nephew left for the military I was looking for stationery to use and came across this. They used to sell it in hard plastic cases, which I wish they still did, but the paper is nice and easy to write on and looks great. It's nice to be back to hand-written letters again!
