Item required to replace old Absaar battery charger that lasted for about 20 years i rate this product highly as it lasts & does what its supposed to very well.

A quality piece of kit, sturdily built, with all the features that I needed for being able to charge any car's battery or jump start. Unfortunately, it had one major problem - a European plug. At first, I thought that this was annyoing, as it meant that I could not use it. However, I found that it is actually illegal to be supplied a mains powered device without a UK plug. The only exceptions are for shavers and toothbrushes, as they are low voltage devices - this however cannot be powered by a shaver socket. If you can get one with a UK plug, I suspect it would be fantastic, if the build quality is anything to go by.

This is a superb piece of equipment. Similar specification to professional garage equipment, but at a fraction of the price. My battery had a bit of juice in it but only enough to turn my 2.0 litre diesel engine over very slowly indeed. Hooked this up to the car and charged battery for about 2 minutes then switched over to "Jump Start" mode. Engine then turned over at normal speed and started instantly.Can also be used on 24 volt commercial vehicle batteries. - NOT suitable for 6 volt motorcycle batteries though..Easy to use with a single control switch that you simply turn to the mode that you want to use:1) Standard 12v Charge. 2) Rapid 12v Charge. 3) 250amp 12v Jump Start.4) Standard 24v Charge. 5) Rapid 24v Charge. 6) 170amp 24v Jump Start.As a battery charger, it can charge up a totally flat car battery in just an hour or two.Best thing I have ever bought for my garage.

Didn't work on arrival because of a loose internal connection that required opening the unit to fix, thereby invalidating any warranty. Poor performance and instructions misleading and useless. Front panel uninformative to the point of being confusing. The instructions describe fuses, for example, but this model has trips. The dial does not clearly indicate which position fulfils which function. Crocodile clips could usefully be larger and stronger and the cables are flimsy. On the positive side, however, the finish is good.

In the absence of any feedback facility this is the only way to share ones experience with other buyers. unfortunately Amazon censorship policy owes more to the North Korean model than the land of the free
