This antenna works great on my 1972 Chevy Nova. I'm very happy with it!

Poor quality

I use these in my auto shop and there hard to find Quality. this antenna is pretty good and doesn't have that cheap crappy look or feel.

GREAT PART, FAUR PRICE LOVE THE LOOK

I purchased a 1972 model car for my coluletion and broke the antenna while looking at it (you broke it you buy it :) ). I purchased this as a replacement due to it fully retracting into the fender well. When it arrived it was just in a plastic bag along with a "key" with no directions for that "key". The mast is stronger than the one I broke. However, the description says "48-Inch Cable, Retractable 36 1/2" 5 Section Stainless Mast". The mast is only 29 inches and 4 sections. If you count the plastic tube that mounts inside the fender and the mast retracts into you could have 5 sections & 36 inches but that plastic tube does nothing for reception - but still a bit deceptive.

Had electric ant. Before, always broke. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore.

"My Garage" said that it would work on my car - the base was too small. I left 5 voice mails with the seller to ask if larger base pieces were available so it would work. Not one was answered, so I returned it. Judging from the photo in the ad, the seller might consider getting an adult on board to answer inquiries. Amazon was great with the return/refund.
