Disintegrated in one year
Used it outside 4 months during the summer and have kept it in a garage since September. Could not believe what I saw when I was going to install it again. Corrosion all over and the blue casing fell in pieces when I touched it.

Good Concept - Poor Quality
The lock seems perfect for an outdoor lock in the pacific northwest, but the lock struggles to lock all the way. Many times it seems locked, but a slight pull means the u part pops right back out, rendering it useless. I have to press extra hard and it can take multiple times before it's fully "locked". I probably got a dud, but wanted to share my experience.

The black rubber over the shackle makes it just larger than 9mm.

Solid and heavy feeling
I live in Houston Texas where it rains a lot and is super humid. I use this lock on the gate to my backyard. Just another layer of protection from somebody trying to break in. But most importantly I don't want my dogs to get out of the gate or somebody to take them. I am very expensive dogs and they are like family to me. This lock is very beefy and heavy. I have had other waterproof locks but this one just looks and feels better than any other one I've had before. Even the cap that closes off the bottom where the keyhole is seems very well sealed. I definitely recommend this lock.

Outside casing fell apart in 3 weeks ,froze up, hard to open
