Realise it's more meant for offroad use but description doesn't allude to this and in fact, suggests it is for the road going by all the description info. The seller should be specific about this. I think the armour is too plastic and thin to be CE approved for the road but it does have labels stitched on, I just find it difficult to believe personally. CE approved road armour is typically dense and rubbery for abrasion and impact, not plastic. I guess some protection is better than none at all but I certainly wouldn't want to crash the bike on the road to prove this armour's roadThere is no kidney protection, a stretchy nylon waiste band cannot be considered as kidney protection!In a motorcycle crash, the jacket and armour would move and with the hard plastic mounted on soft foam, would be more damaging than it would be protective, especially with a long slide over rough tarmac.There are no hand loops to hold cuffs in place as per one of the diagrams, just a sort of stretchy cuff band.Finally, single stitching mounts the plastic armour to the soft foam and it doesnt appear to be the strongest stitching. The thread looks like soft wool.

The protection plates themselves are good but the material that holds them together has already sustained some small tears and rips along the seam. Nothing I can’t fix but if your not good with a needle and thread I wouldn’t recommend

I bought this as 'ppe' for riding my electric kick-scooter. Not quite motor-cross or motorbike gear but it fits under a jacket and gives you a little peace of mind when hurtling down a hill standing upright at 20mph. Because it's quite tight fitting and shaped to protect arms, spine and all torso, you need to refine the technique for getting out of it (which improves with practice) The item is well made, the fabric that holds the arm / elbow pads feels a little flimsy and would probably tear quite easily if you got a little gung-ho with suiting up, however, for the money and with careful dressing, you can't go wrong. Pleased with this purchase.

Very nice armor, very comfortable, as others say use the size guide and measure your chest, mine fits perfectly.Would like to see this armor with fluorescent green plastics and leg armor to match, would be awesome.

Item came on time I ordered the 2xxl and it was a perfect fit. Very good quality and I think value for money.

A good light weight armor perfect to wear on its own no jacket in the summer and can be worn under a jacket in the winter
