First of all, this is not a textbook, it's a workbook, with a collection of exercises to be used with the main texbook.However even the text book is suitable for self-study if you are a beginner, as the books are all in Polish.The book is not great, but the online version is much better. It has twice as many exercises and you can easily see the translation of each word, and the instructions as well.The problem with the printed book, for me, it that it's written mostly in thin fonts that are hard to read.But the main issue with both versions is that it's impossible to link the exercises to the exact section of the book it's meant to help you with. Both the book, the online course only give you the chapter, but not the section.All in all I would say there's no need to buy this book, as the main book has enough exercises to keep you going (online you can access some extra exercises as well, although most of them are only accessible if you pay extra, quite a few are free to use).

This book is clear and provides the right mixture of learning new stuff and overlearning older things.You can use it with a website to support you, but I think you need a teacher to explain it really as it's all in Polish. Also if you didn't know, Polish is fiendish. Seven cases and very few vowels...You definitely need the Course book to go with this.
