Peg Perego John Deere Construction Loader

The tractor is awesome, fast speed is perfect. Assembling was a little tougher than expected and a piece was missing.

Purchased for grandson's birthday. Everything was construction themed. Was a little worried about ordering from Amazon instead of local stores ( prefer to buy local when possible ) , but local stores did not have in stock and we didn't have a 2 week window. Contacted Peg Perego for info and they confirmed they would be the one to talk with if we had a problem regardless where we purchased, ( they were very nice ). Amazon's price was also $50 less which we thought to be a good thing, BUT, this unit does not have the same "dash" as the comparison units we had looked at. So, NO RADIO INCLUDED ON THIS UNIT. This explains the price difference. Not a deal breaker, but we didn't know that when ordering. A little disappointed, but still AWESOME ! In contrast to some other reviews, we thought the instructions were great ( loads of illustrations). Assembly was not difficult, just a little time consuming. We have had no problems whatsoever, other than his mom complains that she can't get him off of it ! He loves it ! This unit works well on several surfaces including grass. Seems to keep adequate charge. Age recommendations are 3-7, seems about right. At this point ( one month since purchase ) we would highly recommend this unit. Love that it is made in Indiana.

I bought this for my 3-year-old great nephew's birthday, and he loves it! My 5-year-old great nephew and almost 7-year-old great niece loves it as well. It is very powerful and goes fast. The bucket works well to pick up things. The kids are having a blast! All the neighborhood kids want to take a turn riding on it. Now, I am just waiting for them to make a trailer that is yellow and black to match. As soon as they do, I will be buying one, so they can tow stuff behind it.

This product rightly gets very good reviews and we like it for all the same reasons mentioned. But I have to add that it came with the worst assembly instructions I've ever seen. Very small black and white drawings with very little detail. Including not showing you which size screw to use for different parts. I used an online video which definitely helped, but seems to me they could include reasonable instructions.

Product is well made. Installation was easy when youtube videos are used. The dash piece was not in the box. I need to contact Amazon to see what I need to do to get it. Overall, nice product, good value.

My grandson absolutely loves this tractor. Assembly was difficult. The rod connecting to the bucket constantly comes out causing the bucket to dig into the ground which then causes the tractor to stop abruptly and lunge him forward. We fixed this by zip tieing the rod to the lift bracket. The plastic is a little flimsy and not super sturdy but hasn’t presented a problem. The battery life is about 45 minutes after having charged over 24 hours. Having said all this from a grandparents point of view of a deserving 3 star review, if you asked my 2 year old grandson he would give it 10 stars. He absolutely loves it.

This is great! My 3 year old absolutely loves this! It goes much faster than I expected, faster than all his other electric trucks and other things he rides. Only drawback is the bucket can scrape the ground while riding if your child doesn’t pay attention or know how to work the lever for it, but my husband just tied a cord from the handle to something else on it that way it doesn’t come down and drag when my son rides it

This item is a piece of Chinese junk. Don’t believe the positive reviews. Cheap materials, very poor assembly instructions (took hours) and looks nothing like a John Deere. Not worth $50 let alone $250.
