I had to return it because the plastic connector is ...
I had to return it because the plastic connector is for the late model of my 1998 Subaru Forester. There is a different plug for the early model than the late model. Pay attention to the plastic connector as the only difference is the cross piece in the connector is in the middle on the early model and at the top on the late model. I guess my Subaru was manufacture late 1997 or early 1998. The first picture shows the late model plug and the second picture shows the early model plug. Again, only the location of the center poster was changed in the two plastic connectors. And this links showing the early plug

Wrong plug for my 1998 Impreza Outback Sport
Wrong plug (too small) for my 1998 Impreza Outback Sport, however I was able to de-pin the plugs and put the original plug on this one. My check engine light (for rear o2 sensor) is now gone! The o2 sensor this replaced was also Bosch, unknown mileage.

Works well, easy to install
This O2 sensor was easy to install. The OEM plug worked with my car's wiring harness. The cable appeared to be too short when I got it out of the box, but it's the correct length. I like that it has a bit of anti-seize on it. So you don't have to doubt if you put too much or too little anti-seize on it when installing it, or if your anti-seize wasn't conductive, etc.

Works as it should.
Got rid of the CEL in my 1993 Subaru Legacy 2.2L.

Does't fit 98 Forester
Amazon said that this would fit so I bought it. It was a much harder install that expected so I just got around to it. It turns out that this is the wrong type of plug/adapter. It doesn't fit. I am going to try to make it work but who knows. Very disappointed and I am way late for the return window. Amazon got this one wrong.

Great Value
Wasn’t expecting a Bosch sensor to be this inexpensive. It’s working great and cleared my CEL.
