Tillich was a popular philosophical theologian, a hard act to follow

This is a classic work by one of the great philosopher theologians of the 20th century. I am co-author of the standard biography of Paul Tillich. He was a great teacher and thinker. This is one of his seminal works which was a best seller upon publication and remains so today. Some philosophical/theological background is helpful in reading this extraordinary volume.Marion Pauck

A must read for those persons that wish to delve deeper into the concept of courage as it relates to the fears we all experience. Having had a basic knowledge of philosophy would be helpful. This book is one of the key books in my library.

What a great read this is. It's not something you breeze through in an evening tho....much to mull over, ponder, and for a writer like me to write about! Definitely recommend it.

In great condition -excited to add to my library

Do I love the book? Yes, I love it. It's one of my favorite book, and I already have read it in my native language, Korean. I wanted to read it again in English, so I ordered this. What I'm saying is content is good, but the book came with marks and some damages. Not sure where to complain about it, so I do it here. At first I was going to return it but it is too much hassle to deal with and I wanted to read it immediately. Anyway, a great book, but a bad packaging.
