KEENMen's Brixen Waterproof Slip on Mules

At first, the shoes hurt my skin at the bottom inside of the ankle bone. I was very disappointed. I started to send them back, but I really like these shoes. I have been trying for a few years to find a suitable long lasting slip on yardwork shoe. These are great! I kept them to see if they would relax and loosen up at my ankle, and they did. I love them. No more ankle bone pain. They are heavy duty and a little larger at the sole profile that I am used to, I stumbled a little bit at first catching them on objects and each other, but I got used to them after a few days. I am 100% satisfied with the purchase. After about 5 or 6 other pairs of shoes, these are perfect. Easy on, easy off. No Steel toes to hurt my toes!

I have a number of keen sandals, shoes and boots, including slip-ins. Since the Brixen has all the polar features, comparable to my revel and anchorage, I initially ordered in my usual size 11.I was extremely excited to get the brixen, something I’d wanted and dove in when there was a price drop. My first impression was this shoe is substantial for a slip in, loaded with features and just simply built very well. It’s truly a beautiful shoe…but in my usual 11, including wearing my typical sock, I was swimming in it. Like actually feeling it might fall off. I ran the # thinking it was mistakingly an extra wide or mislabeled. Nope. Huge disappointment knowing I’d have to return and might not get the same price on 10.5…but did.Any ways the half size is considerably smaller, albeit according to the chart showing only a .6 mm difference than the 11 I originally got.In summary, it is a great shoe. Warm, functional, waterproof and comfortable…and frankly you can’t go wrong with it for any purpose or occasion.

I have wide feet. These shoes fit perfectly! Very comfortable and waterproof. They seem to be very well-made. Very grippy in slippery conditions. I take wear them up to the slopes and the parking lot is often icy and while snow-blowing the driveway. These shoes don't slip on packed snow or ice. Very warm and comfortable. Well done Keen!

Won't lie - I think these are ugly. HOWEVER -- they are the most comfortable work boot I have ever worn. I have a hobby farm, and I use these boots extensively during the summer, and after work the rest of the year. I find I can get about a year+ of use out of these. While they say they are a winter boot, I use them year round, even in the desert heat with wool socks. They are water proof, have good tread, are easy slip ins, and a great choice for my needs.What is great is if I want to go for a 3 mile walk with my dog, I don't need to change my shoes. They work great in the snow. They keep dirt out of the boot (unless I am doing tractor work, and stomping around in the holes. If I had laced boots, the debris would stay out better, but it's not a sticking point with me.)I DO use my own inserts in the boots, but before they changed the inserts and quit using leather, I just used the stock ones.Overall, Love these- comfortable! Tough, waterproof-- I can work all day as an approaching retirement aged woman, and they just don't make my back or feet tired.

I really like the convenience of these shoes! Easy to slip on and off, but fit well enough to stay on. I'm a size 11 and that's what I purchased and they fit great. Very waterproof I found on many rainy days in the Pacific Northwest this last winter. Great soles for traction. I've had them a couple months, long enough for me to have many spills and muddy walks and they are stain resistant and still look new after daily use! Great buy!

I have Keene Utility shoes with two reorders. The current pair is looking shabby, and my wife talked me in to a different style. I me trying something new is more important to her than may comfort. The mules are comfortable to walk in but the top fits tight at my ankle and is stiff. If I wear them more than a couple of hours I am ending up with raw spots below my ankles. So I wear the mules if I am in public and dressing for her. I wear the old Utilities if I am going to be around the neighborhood and wearing them for hours.

These are an extremely well made shoe.They fit well and are quite comfortable for all day wear.

They are comfy, warm, and long lasting. They run a bit big though, but I wear them primarily in the winter and a pair of thick socks helps a lot.

Wer sich für diesen Sch interessiert, sollte ihn unbedingt anprobieren. Zuerst mal, es ist mein 6ter Keen Schuh und der augenscheinlich mit Abstand am besten verarbeitete. Augenscheinlich bedeutet, das ich ihn nur vergleichen kann mit den anderen 5, was die Verarbeitung angeht. Die scheint perfekt zu sein. Das Innfutter, die Haptik, die Einlegesole. Alles eine Stufe besser als sonst. Die Haltbarkeit kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich ihn zurücksenden muß weil er nicht passt. Er ist zu groß. Viel zu groß!!! Ich habe bisher immer EUR47 gekauft und die passen perfekt. Dieser ist auch EUR 47 und mein Fuß findet keinen Halt und schlabbert rum. Vielleicht liegt es an der fehlenden Schürfung!? Keine Ahnung. Sehr sehr schade, den wie gesagt: Toller Schuh.
