Excellent Tool for the whole Healthcare team
LEAN Doctors is an excellent tool for those institutions planning on implementing the LEAN principles in their inpatient or outpatient areas. We started LEAN in our outpatient center in one surgical division. The step by step process was very easy to follow. We built a team from multiple disciplines (leadership, front desk, office, clinical, medical imaging, nursing, MD champion and support staff). We used their feedback and ideas for change to improve the flow of clinic. This participation had a very positive impact on the buy-in to the project. After a few months we found a significant decrease in patient wait times, increase satisfaction in the patient experience and an increase in staff satisfaction. Workflows were standardized and the staff was not spending alot of time looking for items during the sessions.I would highly recommend this resource to any size institution or ambulatory setting planning on implementing LEAN.

Order to Chaos
Following the guidelines in Mr. Suneja's book has helped our clinic put order to chaos. It helped us develop a more professional environment which improved not only patient but employee satisfaction. By engaging the staff in the development of the process, their buy-in is inevitable and sustainable. I would suggest this book to all clinic administrators looking to improve their clinic professionalism and patient through put.

Helps Doctors improve their on time performance in the office.
No other book looks at making office practice more efficient, so it is well worth the read, and may help you remake or at least improve your office practice.

Lean Doctors
I was reluctant to persue Lean Process improvment as a methodology for the physicians in our Independet Practice Association (IPA), fearing that it would be too complicated, and too difficult to explain to them. Mr. Suneja has presented the principles of this well tested process improvement practice from the manufacturing world, in a way that makes it clear how it is applicable to the world of health care. If ever there was a process that needed to have its wastes and inefficiencies removed, the process of the delivery of health care, stand out as being in dire need of this improvement. In addtion, it is clear the author understands the challanges the physician and his ( her) office staff face on a daily basis, and what it takes to help them through this very beneficial process. This is process improvement as a "pull" technique, not a "push" tehnique. We look forward to learning more from Mr. Suneja regarding this exciting method to improve the delivery of health care services. Lean Doctors --
I have worked with Aneesh and his team on a supply room project. They have taught me a great deal on lean principles and I have been able to apply them in many aspects of my work and personal life.
