Ray-Ban Rx5228 Square Prescription Eyeglass Frames

I bought these for my young teenage daughter after trying on frames at the eye dr. I guess Ray Bans are the "cool" (little do they know 😉😉) glasses, but I was hesitant to spend over $200 for the frames alone. I knew Ray Ban was making some products in China and figured I could find the same frames for a lot cheaper online. I figure she'll be wanting a different frame in another year or so. I paid $72 for these and they are well made and perfectly fine or a 15 year old (of 45 year old). I was also able to find the smaller size and the tortoise. The eye dr. only had the larger size, which didn't quite fit her face. Of course we didn't want to wait for the dr to order the smaller size. So, two days later, via amazon prime, we had the new frames.

It took Amazon 3 tries with the identical order but the 3rd was finally correct! I ordered the same color and size each time. 1st time a color I didn’t know they had arrived, 2nd time they were the right color but not the size I had ordered. The 3rd pair came last night and they were just right I hope. Guess I have to wait till the lenses go in but they are what I ordered!

I LOVE RAY-BAN SUNGLASSES AND I WILL KEEP THEM FOR THAT REASON. BUT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SPEAKERS ARE WEAK THE CAMERA IS DECENT BUT FOR THE MONEY I SPENT IT SHOULD BE LOUDER IF THEY WERE BONE INDUCTION IT WOULD BE BETTER

I had an identical pair that I got about 7 years ago from Amazon FOR 90$.... The frames were so beat up I bought a new pair for swapping my lenses (1 year old). Quality does not seem the same. Cheap, flimsy feeling, made in China. 190$ is a huge scam, for a few cuts of plastic. 100$ upcharge from 7 years ago. Also the paint/finish on them is an oil magnetic and the finish will wear off super quick.I only bought these since I had lenses already otherwise I would never spend more than 100$ on frames.

I always had a hard time finding a pair I liked that weren't too big or shaped wrong for my roundish face. These are perfect! Ray Ban does make some frames, including these, in China and not Italy. But compared to the cheapo frames I'm used to, these are of great quality and absolutely not fake as some other reviewers have said. They arrived in immaculate condition with not a defect or scratch on the glasses or case. Was hesitant to buy glasses online, but would definitely purchase again. Half the price you'll find in an optical shop. Most shops do charge an extra fee to put in lenses if you didn't buy the frames from them, but still a great bargain for really sharp, classic-looking glasses.

Fantastic frames. These were 100% authentic. Not only for women by any means...they are great for men. Everything thing about these Ray Bans are quality and fit my face perfectly. List price at my Opticians is $225 (Ray Ban sells for $170) so this was a fantastic steal for the price, even though they jack up the prices at fancy places. Lenses are being made for them as we speak and there were no questions on their authenticity at all by the Opticians office. Color is as described..they look dark in low light but in the sunlight the lighter areas become more visible. All depends on the lighting. Dark Havana is very good tortoise color if you don't want a lot of differentiation in the color..but more slight throughout.

These frames are beautiful and well made. Just what I wanted.

I had little suspicion over the quality of the product

All glossy looks it's faded with in six month, and frame also scratch on spot whether we touch any where. This is not expecting from Ray ban
