Excellent frost protection
In the past, I have always used Plankets to protect my outdoor plants from freezing temperatures but they haven't been doing the job this winter in Dallas, TX. So I ordered a roll of Agribon AG-30 & used it before our 2nd winter storm with freezing precipitation & temps of 19 degrees. I covered several of my potted outdoor plants with Agribon AG-30 topped with a Planket & cinched the whole thing with a bungee cord around the base. I just covered my pansy beds with Agribon and anchored the edges with long heavy metal garden stakes & 6"x6" ceramic tiles. It's important to anchor all of the edges so the wind/ice-snow cannot get underneath. Everything that I covered with Agribon came through undamaged. I've used the Agribon 3 times so far this winter & it has worked very well each time. Two of the pieces of Agribon do have a small hole in them, so I don't about Agribon's long term durability. The initial use took more time because I had to cut the Agribon into appropriately sized pieces. But after that removal & reapplication was easy.

Good light shade, partial chipmunk baffle protection
Good product for a very light shade cloth covering. I purchased this with two main, yet unconventional purposes. 1) to keep aphids from showering down on my kale from the neighbor’s aspens. Fail! They found it anyway. 2) to discourage chipmunks from raiding all my tender young veggies. Moderately successful! I’ve actually got some nice lettuce this year! But those crafty little guys still managed to find small holes in my fortress. Nevertheless this is a good product and I will likely buy a fresh one next season as this is definitely a one season product at my house.

Excellent lightweight cover against pests!
I am using the agribon AG-19 over most of my crops in springtime, I garden in raised beds and use the 83" wide cloth so it covers my hoops in the beds nicely. I used to hold the cloth down with garden staples but now have started using bricks instead which works better, no holes. The young tomato and pepper plants are safe from flea beetles with their cover, and the cucumber plants stay under theirs until they start to bloom, that way they are protected from mildew and cucumber beetles at least for a while, and their lifespan gets extended till they actually bear fruit and I get to harvest and pickle some!Without agribon most of my seedlings wouldn't even make it to mature plants, let alone mature fruit bearing plants.I only wish it would last me more than two seasons, but that's due to the light weight i realize, and it's still a good deal, to me!

Great protection against bugs and birds.
We used against birds and bugs. We covered over our brassicas and this was the first year that they weren’t chewed full of holes by those white moths. Also, last year the birds came and found much of our sweet corn and bean seed after we planted them. This year, we covered the rows in our garden until the seeds could sprout before removing the cover. The plants are all doing well with no bare spots from birds feeding on our seed.

Frost cover
Not too thin. Good amount of material. I used it to cover my tomatoes and citrus trees. So far has keep the frost off them. It is December and I still have plenty of tomatoes on the vines here in Mississippi. We had a few morning below 32 degrees .You can even sew this material together if you need wider material. Good price.

protect your young plants from bugs and critters
just what I needed for insect control and critter control plus it is thin enough to NOT generate too much heat. I live in Florida and I don't need extra heat, believe me. I use this to cover my lettuce mix and my sweet potato plants. both of which were getting devoured by iguanas and bugs. One iguana can devastate a whole bed in no time, especially when the plants are young. This stuff is easy to put down once you get some support system in place to hold it up. I used PVC once and some very thick fence wiring for the sweet potato bed. I made hoops and pushed into ground, then simply cover the hoops with the agribon and shovel dirt on both sides to hold it down. I did it by myself actually, which was fun in the wind. Get a helper if you can
